Of the many sidequests available inWuchang: Fallen Feathers, the White-Robed Elder’s is a strong contender for one of the most interesting. Not only is it shrouded in an active mystery, pulling your attention into trying to ascertain the truth, but it is also the key to many achievements, a completely hidden optional boss, and a special ending.
If you want to experience all the bosses this game has to offer, fulfill your achievements list, and get a specific ending, this quest is an absolute must. Unfortunately, missing steps at any point in this journey can mean the end of that goal prematurely. Therefore, the importance of taking your time to carefully explore cannot be overstated.

Where To Find The White-Robed Elder In The Avian Marsh (Optional)
You do not need to speak to the White-Robed Elder here to complete his questline; our staff has tested and confirmed this. This section is entirely optional.
However, if you want to hear what the White-Robed Elder has to say, you canfollow this tedious march through the marsh:
How To Find The Bo Sorcerer
There are two methods of finding the Bo Sorcerer.
If you chose to follow the section above, you need onlycontinue on the main path to the Avian Dwelling Shrine. Follow the path behind the shrine to the Sorcerer’s Dwelling.
If you don’t care about living through a Jumanji adventure, you’re able to skip the above section andhead directly to the Bo Sorcerer’s lair from the Rebel Camp. To do so:
You can open a shortcut back to the camp by destroying a set of wooden wagons on the left side after passing Buglio.
During the fight, you mustsummon the White-Robed Elderby using your Bone Whistle. While you mustdefeat the Bo Sorcerer, theelder does not need to surviveit.
Simply turn the sorcerer into a rotisserie, and the White-Robed Elder will move on to theTomb.
If you’re struggling to find a good opportunity to summon the elder, we recommend dealing damage to the Bo Sorcerer for a time. Then, when you need to heal and summon, run behind the tree at the back of the arena. Only the Bo Sorcerer’s golden projectile attacks can fly through the tree, meaning the tree gives ample coverage.
Where To Find The Tomb
From the Avian Dwelling Shrine, you canreach the tombif you opened the log shortcut earlier with exploration by:
If you have not yet opened the log shortcut, you’ll have to go around, exploring the Avian Dwelling area. The log shortcut will be on the left side, eventually, marked by several cowering peasants on the ground.
Once inside the Tomb area, the White-Robed Elder will be kneeling in front of a grave on the far end.Speak to him,and he will reward you with theTigraliz Pendant.
Increase all damage dealt in exchange for increasing all damage taken.
For now, this is all we can do.Return to the main story(or wrap up other NPC sidequests) for the time being.
How To Complete The White-Robed Elder’s Quest
Once you have talked to the Storyteller afterthe Fierce Tigerand opened the Bo Capital region, you may return to the Tomb. This time, however, the White-Robed Elder won’t be so friendly.
As soon as you enter the Tomb area, the Elder will reveal himself as the boss: Eternal Glory - Zhao Yun. For information on this fight, refer to our official guide.
If you want a quick tip, we recommend that you prioritize builds that punish the Zhao Yun’s wide opening for backstabs. Critical Hits will melt Zhao’s Yuns health pool.
When you defeat him, he willreward you with a long list of goodies:
Shu Army Board
An item to give toTao Qing, unlocking the spear: Malice Sting.
Cyan Feather Chisel
A crucial item in unlocking a secret ending. It can also unlock the final slot for Tempering.
Echo of Zhao Yun
A spell that deals immense magic damage in an area for the cost of four Skyborn Might.
After defeating Zhao Yun,use the Worship gesture in front of the main gravestone. This will reward you with theLoyalty Set, a strong physical damage armour collection.
