Kyo
If you’ve seen Fruits Basket, you know what a hothead Kyo is. He’s angry, and willing to fight anyway who’s in his way. But under that tough exterior is a broken boy who just wants to be loved. He won’t show his vulnerability to everyone, but he’s willing to open up to the girl he loves.
Kyo is obviously an Aries, down to his bright red hair. Everything he does from fighting against the others in the family, talking back to Akito, and even pulling away from Tohru - it all screams Aries. And if you’re lucky enough to truly know him, you’ll get to see who he really is.
11Taurus
Kazuma
Kazuma is a very special person. He adopts Kyo when nobody wants him and teaches him how to fight. He has a big heart, and happily wears it on his sleeve. It’s clear how much he cares for Kyo and the other kids around him. Through and through, he’s a great person.
Someone who is this great could only be a Taurus. Tauruses are loyal and consistent, which makes them great parents. Tauruses are also reliable and appreciate the little things in life, just like Kazuma.

Kisa
Kisa is the sweetest girl. She’s younger than a lot of the main characters and is being bullied at school. She relies on Tohru and tries to spend more time with her, appreciating her kind nature. She doesn’t speak for a while, but comes out of her shell when she’s treated kindly.
Geminis, you get to be this sweetheart. She’s smart and fierce, but shy and curious at the same time. Geminis are creative and perceptive, just like Kisa. Plus, she’s the spirit of the tiger, which makes her even more perfect.

Tohru
Tohru is one of thesweetest anime charactersout there. She’s been through so much in her life, and it’s turned her into a quieter person who sees the best in people. But she’s not a pushover by any means. She will do anything that she needs to in order to protect the people she loves, even if her overall demeanor seems to be perfectly sweet.
If you’re a Cancer, then congratulations, you’re Tohru. You’re known for being nurturing and sweet and going out of your way to put others before yourself. You’re also smart and passionate, and will fight when you need to.

Yuki
Yuki is known as the prince. Flocks of women are in love with him and fight against anyone who gets close to him. He’s the person who seemingly does everything right. He takes Tohru in, he’s Akito’s favorite, and he defeats Kyo every time.
This almost effortless perfection is what makes Yuki a Leo. Leos are charming, beautiful, and well-liked, just as Yuki is. And of course, underneath that, Leos can be insecure and crave affection, just as Yuki does, which is why it’s beautiful when he findshis perfect match.
7Virgo
Kagura
Kagura is someone who speaks her mind. She has a huge crush on Kyo, and is devastated when she finds out he has feelings for Tohru. Kagura is strong, literally, and often destroys parts of Kyo’s house to get his attention. She’s a little toxic, but sweet and knows exactly who she is.
A strong and slightly toxic character? That’s a Virgo. Virgos are perfectionists who act first and think later. They will do anything to get what they want, even if it isn’t the healthiest choice.
6Libra
Hiro
Hiro is a bit of a jerk to Tohru, but it’s only because he’s young and cares so much about Kisa. He’s a very sweet kid who doesn’t always know how to share his emotions. He wants to protect the girl he cares for, and doesn’t care who else gets hurt in the process.
Libras are charming and kind, but avoid confessing their love, like Hiro does. Instead, they sometimes end up pining from afar. Libras are social and smart, and they value their personal relationships.
5Scorpio
Isuzu
Isuzu is at her lowest point when she’s introduced. She has been attacked by Akito and tries to avoid everyone. She even breaks up with the love of her life to keep him safe. She’s quiet and calculating, but she has to be so that she can survive.
Isuzu is the perfect character for Scorpios. Scorpios will push people away to keep them safe, and they will do anything for the people that they love. They are calculating and intelligent, and don’t always value themselves as highly as they should.
4Sagittarius
Ayame
Ayame is the zodiac snake and Yuki’s older brother. He’s a designer who is very self-assured, and one of the only people who has made a successful life outside the Soma family. He doesn’t care what people think of him, and he finds love and happiness on his own.
A smart and successful snake like Ayame has to be a Sagittarius. Sagittariuses are hardworking and analytical. They care about others, but are able to put themselves first. They’re also happy to show off and stand out, just like Ayame.
3Capricorn
Kureno Sohma
Kureno Sohma is somewhat of a mystery. He’s stoic and stays by Akito’s side. At first glance, it almost seems like he stands by Akito and has her back even through the abuse that she dishes out, but once you dig deeper, it’s revealed that Kureno pities her, and has a very soft heart. He can’t bear to make anyone sad.
Capricorns are Kureno. They have tough exteriors and will put on a front, but underneath that is a kind and loving nature. Even though they seem stoic, they’re gooey and sweet on the inside.
