InPalworld, much of your gameplay involves gathering resources, exploring vast areas, and taking on bosses solo, which can sometimes feel tedious. Fortunately, the game is designed around pals who can be captured to help with these chores, freeing you up to concentrate on exploration and fighting.

The developers continue to support the game by regularly adding fresh content, including new pals, gear, locations, and more. The latest update expanded the roster of pals, introducing several new companions, with Turtacle being one of the newest additions.

Where To Find Turtacle

Turtacleis a new pal that was introduced with the Tides of Terraria massive update, and in order to get your hands on it,there are two main waysto add this pal to your roster.

The first and usual way that works with all pals is thatyou can go and find it and catch it using a sphere. It can be found roaming around one of the newly added islands in the game.

It’s called Isle of Decayed Treasuresand is located justeast of Eastern Wild Island, and you’re able to reach itusing either a flying mount or a swimming mount.

Near the shipwreck, you should find a few Turtacles roaming that you may capture. The process is the same: just lower its health to increase your chances of capturing it, andpreferably throw the sphere from behind.

If you happen to need Pal Fluids or Bone, then you can defeat Turtacle for a chance to drop them for you.

The second method requires you to fish for it, butyou first need to learn how fishing works in the game.

When you do, there are many fishing spots where you can get this pal, andthese are all around the edge of the central forest biome of the game, including Verdant Brook, Eastern Wild Island, Marsh Island, Windswept Hills, Bamboo Groves, and so on.

In these areas, just go to the edge where the water isand locate the shadows of the pal in the water. Here, bring out your fishing rod, throw the bait out, and be patient.

You might not get Turtacle on your first try, but eventually you will.

Turtacle is aWater-type palthat you can either keep as a companion or assign to the base. If youpick the companion, it’s really great, since Turtacledecreases the weight of armor in your inventory, helping you carry supplies, but he’s not a great fighting pal, so he can just be added in the secondary slots.

If you opt to put it in the base, its work suitability includesLevel 2 Watering, andLevel 1 in both Mining and Transporting.
