One of the weirder recurring mechanics inDonkey Kong Bananzais the shaved ice machine used to cool lava or fill up pots of frozen desserts. This is the crux ofQuick-Serve Ice Treats, a Challenge Course in theLandfill Layerof the game that revolves around speed filling one of these dessert pots.

In theory, the level has apredesigned pipelinefor the treats to fall down, meaning theice will all fall into the potat the end no questions asked. The only problem is, at several pointsthe pathway is blocked, and it’s up to you to to carve a path out.

Even once you’ve done that, though, you still won’t have found all of the Banandium Gems, but we’re on hand to make sure everything is top banana.

How To Get The Last Banandium Gem In Quick-Serve Ice Treats

Thethird and final Banandium Gemis by far thehardest one to getin Quick-Serve Ice Treats. Or at least, it’s thehardest one to find. When it comes to getting it, thankfully that’spretty simple.

At theendof the course, you’ll be ina very small roomwith just thepot of frozen dessertand abarrel that shoots you back to the start.All of the walls can be punched through, but you want to look at the back wall, if we take that to mean the onedirectly opposite the barrel.

Punch throughhere and you’ll finda snowed in hole in the ground.Punch through this,and you’lltunnelfar enough to reach theBanandium Gem in the basement.

How To Complete Quick-Serve Ice Treats

The course forQuick-Serve Ice Treatsis already set out for you, you just need toclear it. The best way to do this is inKong Bananza, as you willpunch harderand thereforedestroy the blockages faster.When punching downwards, don’t even think about anything - just punch.

When punching through a blockage however, you will need somecontrol. Be too erratic and you will end up creating a ditch or a cul-de-sac that will trap the ice, or at least slow them down.Aiming upwardsa little bit, you will usuallyavoid causing any unwanted damageto the track and can clear the blockages clearly. Switchingback to regular Donkey Kong for the goldoffers more control too.

Finishbefore thetimer runs outand you get the first Banandium Gem, andfinish with 30 seconds leftto getthe second Banandium Gem.
