Dune: Awakeninghas quite a lot of build potential, and a lot of those possibilities come from the fact that any character can learn any skill, if they take the time to do so. But, it’s not always clear where you need to go to do this, and requires a bit of exploration.

Finding Class Trainers is the ticket, but they’re spread far and wide across the map. The Swordmaster Class has two Trainers just like the rest, but their Basic Trainer is one of the furthest from where you start the game. If you’re having trouble tracking them down, we’ve got you covered.

Where To Find The Basic Swordmaster Trainer

The Basic Swordmaster Trainer is located very far to the north, north of the Pallas Shipwreck and just north of Helius Gate, in Pinnacle Station.

This area is going to have tougher enemies, more hazards, and a higher temperature, forcing you touse more water.

How To Find Pinnacle Station

Once you get near Helius Gate coming from the south,go past the large rock wall that Helius Gate is on, rather than climbing or riding up it.Continue following the path traversible by sandbike, which is going to bend to the east before going north again.

Once you get turned back to the north, you’llfind a large rock wall pretty far in front of you, covered with lights. This is Pinnacle Station.

All Class Trainers seem to have a glowing light floating near them; the same is true for this one, named Arno. Arno will give you a Quest, and completing Quests for him is going to unlock access to Swordmaster skills.

Where To Find The Advanced Swordmaster Trainer

The Basic Swordmaster Trainer is going tounlock access to the first level of Swordmaster skills, but to level those up further, you’ll need to find the Advanced Swordmaster Trainer. This Trainer islocated in Harko Village, the Harkonnen Social Hub.

To get to Harko Village, you’ll need to either hire an ornithopter pilot to take you there, or take your own ornithopter there.

Once there, you’ll need to head all the way through Harko Village;head through the main street, past the red hologram in front of Hannivar’s, and take a left, just before the back exit out of Harko Village.

In that area, there is going to bean NPC with a blindfold over their eyes taking shelter underneath a shanty. This is Seron Varlin, and if you complete Quests for him, he’ll unlock access to higher levels of the Swordmaster skills that you’ve learned.
