While exploring the world ofPalworld, you’ll come across a wide range of Pals spread throughout various regions, with each area offering its own set of unique species to find and collect. With over 100 different Pals in the game, capturing them and gathering the resources they drop remains a major part of the experience.
The latest update, Tides of Terraria, introduced several new points of interest on the map, expanded the list of available Pals, and added a handful of new weapons. One of these weapons is Excalibur, a unique melee blade. This guide will explain how to obtain it.
How To Get The Excalibur Schematic
Excalibur is a new melee weaponthat was added with the release of the Tides of Terraria, and to get your hands on it,you need to first get its schematic, unlike other weapons that you can unlock from the Technology menu.
This schematic can only be obtained from the Terraria Dungeon, which you can find inthe Sealed Realm of Terraria,located just southeast of the Fisherman’s Point travel point.
When you explore this dungeon,you will be able to loot multiple chests that are scattered inside, and the loot fromthese chests is random, which includes the Excalibur schematic.
This can make things a bit tedious for you if you’re not lucky, asyou might need to run this dungeon multiple timesuntil you get your hands on this specific schematic.
On the bright side, you will not be wasting time exploring this dungeon, as you can still catch all the new pals inside it, get other loot and schematics from the chests, and fight the boss at the end of the dungeon, so it’s still definitely worth the multiple runs.
How To Craft Excalibur
If you got lucky and managed to get your hands on the Excalibur schematic, no matter which rarity you have,you will now be able to craft it at any Weapon Assembly Linethat is available in your base.
However, before you craft it,you will need to have 30 Hallowed Bars. In case you don’t know where to get these, they can also be obtained from inside the Terraria Dungeon, so chances are you will probably have enough from the multiple runs you have been doing.
This will start the crafting process, which will take some time, so simply head back later to grab this new melee weapon and enjoy using it.
