Have A Nice Trip is part of the main path of the narrative inTainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon. It will require you to speak to an eccentric druid, who may or may not be under the control of a Maggot, and perform a ritual that will send you into his mind to confront a worm.
The biggest obstacle you’ll encounter in this quest is finding the ingredients for the ritual. But worry not, we’ll tell you where to find everything you need. We’ll also guide you through the Apocalypticists quest you need to complete to begin Have A Nice Trip. It is all here, folks!
Apocalypticists Quest Walkthrough
to begin the Have A Nice Trip quest, you’ll first need to complete the Apocalypticists quest. Thankfully, this one is pretty simple. You need to talk to Denholm. He is in the northwest corner of the main village. From theFarmlands fast travel marker, head south around the edge and follow the water aroundto where the wooden steps are. Take those stairs up above, you’ll find Denholm inside a tent. Speak to him, and agree to go talk to Maggot.
The easiest way to get to him is to head across the bridge toward the fast travel marker. From there, follow the path west, cross the bridge and take a right. Enter the house, and talk to Maggot. No matter which dialogue options you choose, you will gain access to the Have A Nice Trip Quest.
How To Find Silver Powder
The Silver Powder is a little easier to locate than the Raspberries. Simply head to the location marked on your map on the west-most end of the map.The Forest Gate fast travel spotis right next to it. Clear out the camp andloot the crates to find the Silver Powder.
How To Find Raspberries
The more difficult of the two ingredients you will need to find are the raspberries. While they are said to be located around the bandit camp, I struggled to find the 10 required. However, if youhead south of the main village in Cuanacht,you’ll run into a giant tree with a camp set up around it. There are some raspberry bushes near the rocky outcrop on the outskirt of the camp.
Additionally, if you head back to the Horns of the South, you’ll find a bunch of raspberries located all around.Teleport to the Ruined Brochfast travel location, and you will find plenty of raspberry busheswest of the Broch ruins.
While covering this game, the number of raspberries required changed from ten to three. I don’t know when this happened. I also don’t know if this was a patched change or a bug. Either way, you will be able to find ten by going to the above locations, so the point is moot.
Now that you have all the ingredients required for the ceremony,head back to Maggotand speak to him.
Should You Kill The Maggot Inside Maggot’s Head?
With all the ingredients in hand, Maggot will now perform a ritual that will transport you into his mind. Head toward the front door, then,exit his house through the mouse hole to the left. From here on out, the path is extremely linear. Just head straight and you will find yourself facing a massive hole. Don’t worry, there is no fall damage here, jump down without fear. Now, walk forward and speak to themore literalmaggot.
The worm will ask you to kill it. If you have15 points inanystat, you can spare the maggot. This leaves Maggot more whole. However, there is no material benefit. Either way, you’llearn 2300 XPand the Have A Nice Trip quest will be completed.
How To Save Maggot Without Having 15 Points In Any Stat
It is worth noting that this is most certainly a glitch, and will almost certainly be patched, but when I walked up to the maggot andkilled it without talking to it,I was given the best result, even though I didn’t have 15 points invested in any one stat. Once again, this is most certainly a glitch, so it is hard to say how long it will stay in the game.
