As soon as you startTainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, you will find yourself in a prison cell, typical, and you have no idea who you are or why you’re there. However, shortly after, you find yourself getting freed and saved by a random unknown man who helps you escape.
This man is Caradoc, but he is only a messenger for the real head of the operation, Orrin. You carry on with the game normally, not paying much attention to this until you finish Act 2. Then Caradoc comes to you and mentions the name Orrin, the guy who planned the mission to get you out of prison. This becomes an interesting matter where you need to try and find this mysterious man and figure out why.
This quest contains major plot spoilers for the main game, so naturally, this guide will include spoilers.
How To Find Orrin
The only clue you have about Orrin ishis old tower, which is the same asthe Wyrd Tower located west of Cuanacht’s main city, so make your way there.
As soon as you arrive, you will finda panel to the left of the door, so verify tointeract with it first in order to unlock the door.
You will not be able to interact with this panel if you have not completed Act 2 and received the Shield of Arthur, as you can see from the panel, it has a shield symbol.
Go inside and you will findthe ghost of Orrin speaking, telling you his message, so wait and listen to him until he finishes.
Now this is where the quest is completed, however, there are a few secretsthat you can reveal, along with some lore here.
HEAVY SPOILERS!!!!
If yougo to the left side immediately, you will see a broken door and through it,you will see a guy sitting on a chair smoking a pipe, that’s the Human King Arthur. But you are technically not supposed to know about this until you reach the ending.
Moving on,make your way to the upper floorwhere you will see the ghost of Orrin again, and he will speak and deliver another message.
Finally, make your waydown to the basement by taking the stairswhere you will find Orrin’s ghost once again with one final message to deliver to you.
From all of Orrin’s messages, and some of the journals found in this place, which we will not spoil here to keep you excited about what you will discover, you will learn a lot more about the truth behind Arthur.
It also seems that Caradoc purposely wanted you to see all of this before you get the third and final piece of King Arthur, sothis might help you shape your decision for the ending.
