Not everyone has a head for creative or logical naming conventions. InRevenge of the Savage Planet, you’re just a single person jetted off to a whole new star system, and then laid off from the company that sent you there. You are qualified for exploration, not naming. So it makes sense that some collectibles have rather simple names.
For example, you come across a mysterious, orange, oozing plant that, admittedly, looks rather delicious. What should that be named? Orange Goo, obviously. There’s quite a few of them to be found in Quasadron IX, so let’s get into the process of finding and eating them all.
What Does Orange Goo Do?
There isn’t a strict leveling system in Revenge of the Savage Planet. You don’t gain experience from your actions, but you canincrease both your Health and Stamina. And how do you do that? By eating Orange Goo, of course! The more you eat, the more Health and Stamina you gain.
You do not gain more with each one you eat, however. Rather, you need to eat a certain amount to gain more. For example, you will only need to eat one to gain your very first increase, but later increases may take six or more Orange Goo before you gain a new level.
There is also no excess Orange Goo, so you will need to gobble them all up if you want to max out your Health and Stamina.
Every Quasadron IX Orange Goo Location
There are24 pieces of Orange Goo to be found across all of Quasadron IX,just like every other planet. Stellaris Prime is the sole exception to this, with 31 pieces of Orange Goo to be found. Quasadron IX is a large planet though, so you’ll need quite a few abilities to be able to navigate it all to find those pieces of Orange Goo.
With Quasadron IX being the final planet you come across, it’svery possible you will already have all the tools you needto be able to gather all the Orange Goo, so you should be able to speed through the gathering process.
