One of the benefits ofLies Of P: Overturebeing attached to the late-game is that it ensures that all the players working through it are seasoned hunters. In turn, that means the Overture content can come out of the gate swinging - and boydoesit! You will immediately be confronted by multiple dangerous new enemy types in a brand-new, hyper-hostile, snowy setting.
However, with the new dangers comes a whole host of new treasures. It won’t be long before you encounter a brand-new weapon type, and obtain the material necessary to build one of the two new Legion Arms. To the victor go the spoils and we’ll both give you everything you need to be victorious while also showing you where to find all the aforementioned spoils.

This section will act as a bit of a checklist of sorts. Every item you can find in this area is listed below. We’ve tried to list the items in the order you will obtain them. Use this resource to ensure that you are snagging all the important bits and bobs hidden throughout the zoo.

The Strange Forest Stargazer
The first area you’ll enter has a bear and three frozen wolves. The bear is aproblem. However, while it dishes out hefty amounts of damage, the bear is extraordinarily slow, so you will be able to get distance and fight the wolves on their own. The big move you need to look out for iswhen the bear stumbles forward on two feet. That means he’s going to grab you. Get your distance when he does this, and then attack once his four paws are back on the ground.
The wolves are pretty similar to the other four-legged animals you’ll have encountered. However, they will be your first point of contact with the new frost status ailment. The key here is to not approach them if they start shaking in place. They are about to explode into a cloud of frost.If you get frozen, your movements become sluggish, which is the last thing you want when there is a bear nearby.
Once you take care of them, look for a treasure chest in the nearby cave andcollect the Winter’s Hunting Hat and Winter’s Hunting Apparel. Proceed forward and grab the Krat Zoo Newspaper Advert from the carriage before the bridge, and then cross it. You’ll now be on your way to the zoo. You are going to follow the path down and encounter a bunch of zombies and wolves. Just create space, and take them out as they charge at you, being mindful of the frost effect.
Eventually, you’ll head into an area with three baboons trapped in cages. Don’t worry, they’ll free themselves. The baboon enemy type moves pretty quickly and hits super hard. However, they do stagger fairly easily, and it is prettyeasy to circle them and land backstabs. The secret here is to let them come to you and fight them one-on-one, as a single baboon is easy to deal with, but dealing with groups of them is a nightmare.
Activating The Hall Of Adventure Stargazer
Once you kill the baboons, collect “Colonel Little’s Guide to Krat Zoo”, which is near the entrance. Now, enter the building and there are a few items to collect, including the “Discover Wildlife: Bears!”.
Head to the second floor, take out a few zombies andstep out onto the balcony.Speak to the Bloodied Man and acquire the “Missing: Romeo file”. There is a Hidden Moonstone at the top of the broken set of stairs. With your back facing the balcony, head to the room on your right. Here you’ll find the “Krat Mysteries: The Vanished Taxidermist” sitting in the middle of it. This room also has aResplendent Ergo Chunk hidden behind a stack of boxes.
The Quartz In The Garden Behind The Museum
Leave this room, andlook for the opening heading out onto the balcony in the back(this is the opposite end of the room from the balcony the Bloodied Man was on). Once you get outside, take the ladder down. Kill the two baboons and then loot the chest to get aQuartz. The room on the other side of this floor is where you will go to progress. You’ll have to fight your way through a number of baboons as you do so. Do your best to draw one of them to you and fight them in isolation, of course.
Once you have acquired the Quartz, head up the ladder and back to the second floor of the museum. Now, head to the other side, clear some zombies along the way, and enter the other room up here. There is a baboon in this room. Once you kill it, pick up the “Krat Mysteries: The Vanished Taxidermist” book. Head through the hallway in the back, but watch out.Two baboonsare going to burst through the windowsonce you enter the hallway. You dip into the hallway, then, when they smash through the windows, retreat back to the room you came from; that way you will have a larger area to fight them in.
In the next room, you’ll see a mutated elephant that doesn’t look like he is doing too hot. He’ll take a lot of hits, and he hits extremely hard, but he is pretty easy to circle and attack from behind. When it attacks, just dodge directly to the side. This will leave you in a good position to whack at its side. You’ll get aRadiant Ergo Chunkfor putting it out of its misery.
There is Thermite near where the elephant is roaming, grab it, read some of the plaques, and then head to the second floor. You’ll encounter a new enemy here. This mutated creature tosses poisonous projectiles at you. There is a Legion Magazine in the crevice here.Take cover in this crevice, and after they toss the projectile at you, you will need to charge forward and take them out. Head out onto the balcony to the right and open the chest to get the Royal Horn Bow.
The Royal Horn Bow isverypowerful. It isn’t a bad idea to immediately upgrade it. You can use the bow to quickly attack enemies with the light attack from a distance. This hits surprisingly hard. However, the big treat is the heavy attack. There are three phases of this attack.
Ideally, you are always looking to time that flash. It does the most damage, tears through multiple enemies, and creates a cyclone effect that makes the shot much wider, helping it hit more enemies.
Now, push forward, kill another baboon, and grab the Dark Moon Moonstone of the Covenant on the balcony. Hop down into the section below, and fight off the zombie’s below. There is aMotivity Crank sitting on a nearby tabledown here.
How To Unlock The First Shortcut
From the area where you fought those zombies (and got the Motivity Crank), follow the wood-plank path until it turns right. However,instead of turning right, take a left. Open that door, and you will open up access to the first floor of the museum. Head back to the path, then take a left, you’ll grab an Attribute Resistance Ampoule. Now, head down the frozen creek, and kill the projectile-tossing mutants and zombies.A butterfly will materialize: destroy it and you will get aQuartz. Head to the back of this area, and you will also find a treasure chest hidden behind some large icicles with a Legion Caliber inside.
Progress into the next area, where there are a bunch of open cages, and you’re going to face off against a trio of wolves.The bow is very helpful here, as you will be able to pick at least one of them off before they can swarm you. That being said, if you run back to the shortcut, they will lose interest in you and return to the central area with the cages.
Target the first wolf you see with your bow and then let a charged shot rip instead of proceeding forward until it howls. Take the advantage!
This area also has mutants and zombies, but they aren’t a big deal. Search this area, and you’ll find a Fire Abrasive near a mutant in one of the pens, and an Anti-Freeze Ampoule near the upturned cage. Before you leave, head forthe bridge and grab the Crescent Moonstone. Now, continue down the path and you’ll encounter another bear. They arelessof a problem now that you have the bow. Killing the bear will get you an Attribute Purification Ampoule and a Resplendent Ergo Chunk. You will find theWinter’s Sleep Amulet in a chest in the penthe bear came out of.
Look for the ladder in one of the pens, climb it, then climb down the ladder across from it. You will now be in a pen with a massive gorilla. This guy hits harder but is a little more straightforward to fight than his smaller buddies. His primary attacks are a three-hit combo where he takes massive swings at you, andan attack where he plunges his fists into the groundbefore charging toward you and swinging upward (firing bits of debris everywhere).
Wait for him to stop when he is performing this attack.That is the cue that he is going to thrust his fists upward. Pause for a brief moment once he stops, then dodge to the side. You will find an Ancient Disk in the chest in his pen.
Move forward along the walkway, and you’ll be attacked by two kangaroos. These guys are remarkably feisty! They will roll at you, swat you with their paws, and balance on their tails to deliver powerful kicks. They do, thankfully, stagger fairly easily, and you canbackstab them just like the baboons. Wait for them to roll at you, dodge to the side, then attack their backs.
How To Unlock The Jungle Zone Walkway Stargazer
The encounter with the kangaroos will be immediately followed by an encounter with a massive kangaroo. This one has all the same moves, but also has a sweeping tail swipe that it will perform. It always does these in pairs.Parry the two tail swipes, and you will have an opportunity to strike back. It dropped a Fable Catalyst and a Resplendent Ergo Chunk for us. Head forward and you will reach the Jungle Zone Walkway.
In the area after the Stargazer, you’ll encounter another mutated elephant. This fight is just like the one from before… until it isn’t.Partway through, it will mutate, and grow a horrifying, long neck, with multiple animal heads protruding. Now it will have far greater range, deal more damage, and be more aggressive. In this form, it also gets a few unique attacks.
These attacks are perfect for taking advantage of your lack of knowledge. Just verify you are ready toparry the neck swing twice, prepare toparry the big kick after it rushes forward(if you attempt to attack its back right away, you will get rocked), andwhen you see it standing on its hind legs, run away. Once you understand how to deal with these attacks, you will be in a good place to kill this monstrosity.You will be rewarded with a Genius’s Legion Plugfor your troubles, which you can use to build one of the two new Legion Arms.
After taking out the elephant, hop down onto the frozen lake, and head up the snowy path. You’ll fight a few more frozen wolves and find a Resplendent Ergo Chunk sitting in front of a stack of boxes. Now, head back to the frozen lake and push forward, but do so cautiously. Once you are near the bridge, a massive snowball will slam through the center of this path. Stick to the right andget as far to the right as possible when you hear the snowball coming.
Where To Find The Lorenzi Bolt Blade And Lorenzi Bolt Handle
There is a massive, mutated monstrosity in the middle of the frozen lake, and they are surrounded by frozen wolves.Bait the wolves outand fight them individually if possible. The mutant takes a bunch of hits to kill, but they don’t have any particularly intimidating moves. you may just parry their swiping attacks, orkeep your distance and shoot them with your bow. Once you clear out these enemies, loot the treasure chest that the snowball will have revealed. There is a Lorenzi Bolt Blade, and a Lorenzi Bolt Handle inside.
The Savanna Experience Center Stargazer
Head into the next area and you’ll find a corpse. Search it to find the Announcement For The Brotherhood Of Truth. Head up the stairs, open the door, and activate the next Stargazer. Climb the stairs and grab the Special Purification Ampoule. Now, back on the first floor, open the closed doors and head forward. Outside the doors, take a left and pick up the Sawtoothed Wheel. Use ranged attack items, or the bow, to kill the baboon sitting on the platform near the entrance.You don’t want to leave it alive, as it will be tossing stuff at you throughout the entirety of the next section.
There is another baboon sitting on the other side of the fence. You won’t be able to hit it with your bow, but if you have the Cataclysm Legion Arm you will be able to hit it with that and push it off the platform.
Work your way around the boardwalk killing zombies, dip into the crevice on your right to grab the Cluster Grenade, then push forward and grab the Gemini’s Enhanced Detection from in front of the stack of boxes. Once you are ready to go, hop down to the area below and fight the gorilla and kangaroo. Both of these are the larger, enhanced versions.Thankfully, they patrol different halves of this area, so you will be able to fight them one-on-one.
With the big guys cleared out, scour the rest of this area, and you will find aTechnique Crank on the frozen pond, a Resplendent Ergo Chunk in front of a bunch of boxes, a Miraculous Recovery Ampoule in a small stone enclosure near where you fight some kangaroo.
Look for a tower with a ladderon top of a mound of earth with a small ramp leading up to the base of it. Climb this tower, and you will be up where the baboons who were tossing stuff at you were. Hop down from the netting to get to the treasure chest. Open it to claim the Broken Cutting Grindstone and Broken Piercing Grindstone.
How To Unlock The Second Shortcut
Now, climb the ladder up to the top of the tower, grab the Crescent Moonstone, and cross the narrow bridge. Follow this path forward, and you’ll be in an outdoor eating area. Check the nearby corpse to find the Secret Letter With The Oroboros Insignia.Now, open the doors behind the bar, and you will have unlocked a shortcut back to the Stargazer.
Now, head back to the tower you climbed up, and jump down to the large area below. Prepare yourself: you are about to face off against the first boss in the game: the Tyrannical Predator.
