Tracking down ingredients inTainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalonpresents a challenge, especially if you’reaimlessly wandering around in search of carnationsor something. While most alchemical and food-based ingredients are found one by one in various locations and inside objects, Etherbloom is a bit different.
As you might expect, Etherbloom is a naturally grown plant found in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, but you don’t need to harvest it in small numbers. Instead, Etherbloom is one of the few ingredients you can find in massive quantities – if you know where to look.
What Is Etherbloom?
Etherbloom is a rare crafting materialyou can find in Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon during nighttime, when the Wyrd comes out.
On its own,Etherbloom restores 15 mana over ten seconds, costs four coins, and weighs 0.01 units. Luckily, Etherbloom is not just a quest ingredient, so you’ll find it useful for various alchemical potions.
Where To Find Etherbloom
Etherbloom appears randomly during nighttimewhen the Wyrd infests the land, but there are also set spawn points in key locations to find.
Etherbloom is evena key part of the quest, The Crumble, which you’ll find early in your journey into Cuanacht. Whether you’ve already picked up that quest or not, you can get ahead of the game by collecting every Etherbloom you see.
Luckily, the best area to find Etherbloomis found early in the game, as the Horns of the South offers a distinct spot that is home tohuge gardens of Etherbloom: Smuggler’s Bay.
Smuggler’s Bay is located in the northeastern section of the Horns of the South, directly northeast from the Horns of the South Keep. It’s pretty remote, so if you’re not already on your way here as part of the quest, you’ll probably miss it.
Fast travel to the Ruined Broch, where youdefeated the Ogre for Cillian during This Is The Part Where You Run Away, and travel east along the shore to the Smuggler’s Bay.
Here, you’ll find your destination:a small cavealong the shore. Head inside and approach the guard here.
You caneither kill or make friends with the guard by chatting with himand convincing him he’s guarding the wrong end of the cave via a Perception check.
Then, offer him as much food as humanly possible so he falls asleep.
He just needs a bunch of different food items; you don’t need to feed him meals.
If that doesn’t work, you can say you have business with Anulf, then mention you’re just picking up a sack of Etherbloom for personal use. The guard will buy the story and give youthe key.
Once the guard is dealt with, grab his keyand proceed through the nearby locked gate and fight your way through some guards.Head down a mining tunnelnearby to find the motherlode of all Etherbloom spawn points guarded by a few enemies to dispatch.
This room is the best spot to find Etherbloom in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, as you’ll be able to grab hundreds of Etherbloom each time you return.
Much like farming Meteorite Ore,you can leave the area and return after resting to find the harvest refreshed.
After a run or two, you’ll be well-stocked on Etherbloomfor the foreseeable future, and you’ll have more than enough to complete The Crumble quest.
Even though Etherbloom spawns in the world, skip out on the frustration of wandering and make this your one-stop shop for finding Etherbloom in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
