As you explore the world ofFantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, you’ll soon come across Strangelings; poor humans who have been turned into inanimate objects. There are various ways in which you can find Strangelings, after which you can then turn them human once again, and they’ll become Buddies.
There are 49 Strangelings in total to be found, and you’ll want to track them down to ensure you have the best team of Buddies at your disposal to help in your Base Camp and while you explore. Here’s where to find them all.
What Are Strangelings And How To Find Them
Strangelings are humans that have been turned into objects and you can find them in a few different ways:
Once you’ve obtained them, you can change them into human form, at which pointthey become Buddies. As Buddies, they canjoin your party as you adventure, as well as join your Base Camp, especially if you build them a home to live in.
Buddies all have Lives too, so you can mix and match your party setup.
How To Turn Strangelings Into Buddies
Once you’ve successfully obtained a Strangeling, though you can place them in your Base Camp as a furnishing, you should really let the poor souls free from their inanimate object curse. Simply use the Goddess Statue in your Base Camp by exchangingCelestia’s Giftsto revert them.

Free-Spirited Cap

In the Sed’nas Shrine in the East Dryridge Desert, southeast of Googlebert’s Tower, and close to the coast. You must complete the tile puzzle within to successfully retrieve the Free-Spirited Cap.
Fortune Cat Doll
Colin - Magician
In the Angar Shrine in the Viridia Plateau, east of Googlilocks’s Tower on the upper cliffs near the coast. You must complete the combat challenge within to get the Fortune Cat Doll Strangeling.
Pirate Princess Flag
Olivia - Paladin
There is a chance of obtaining this Strangeling from a chest obtained by defeating an enemy with a crown mark, or gathering from a resource with a crown mark.
Maajik Demon Statue
Daemon - Magician
You must complete three requests from Gonk in Beetle Borough in Crickneck Canyon. The quests will only be available once you have saved the settlement by completing a mining challenge.
Black Knight’s Sword
Odin - Paladin
In the Sker’ri Shrine in the Viridia Plateau, west of Googlilocks’s Tower, close to the border with the East Dryridge Desert. You must complete the gathering challenge within.
Wooly Chair
Shea - Tailor
Southeast of Googliu’s Tower in the East Greatgut Plains. It’s on a small island in the watery area and looks like a sheep.
Angler’s Hood
Isaac - Angler
In the Fan’ni Shrine in the South Greatgut Palins, southeast of Googlierre’s Tower. It’s on one of the highest points of the mountainous area. You must complete the gathering challenge within.
Soothing Basket

In the Bareng Shrine in the East Dryridge Desert, southwest of Googlierre’s Tower, on the cliffs above the sea. You must complete the combat challenge within.
Cook O’Lantern

Found in Viridia Plateau, close to the northern border and northwest of Googlilocks’s Tower.

Glehd Shrine, which is found within the Pettlewing Forest Dungeon (you have to navigate through). You must complete the memory puzzle within. The entrance to this dungeon can be found in Pettlewing Woods, northeast of Goolancia’s Tower, on the southern edge of the northern group of wooded trees there.
