As you build a friendship with Alice, you’ll unlock more quests that can bring new rewards to your village. Here’s everything you need to know to encourage Alice and unlock the secret treasure hidden behind her poem!
How To Unlock The Mimsy Were The Borogoves Friendship Quest
To unlock this quest, you’ll need toreach level four friendship with Aliceand have the Forest of Valor unlocked. You’ll also need to makeprogress with both Merlin and Annabefore the quest becomes available.
Once you meet the requirements, you canspeak with Alice to beginthe Mimsy Were The Borogoves quest.
Alice found a mysterious poem that she once wrote before the Forgetting, and she needs yourhelp to find the other parts and recover a treasureshe hid somewhere in the Valley.
Where To Find The First Poem In A Bottle
Alice gives you your first clue: to search for something buried near"a place of sunbaked pleasure.“While it may seem like it refers to the Sunlit Plateau, you’ll actually want tohead down to Dazzle Beach.
Make your way to the staircase and descend onto the shoreline. Keep an eye out for abottle buried in the sand.Use your Royal Shovel to dig it up, thenbring it to Alicefor your next clue.
Where To Find The Second Poem In A Bottle
The poem in the bottle points toa dark cavern with mystic lights. Head back to the beach andenter the Mystical Cave, making your way down the stone ramp. When youcome upon the Mome Raths, speak with Alice.
The Mome Raths are fakes, but youcan’t cross over thembecause they’re brittle and dried out.
Take yourRoyal Watering Can and use it on the false Mome Rathsto revitalize them.Water each of the Mome Rathsuntil you reach the bottom of the cave, thenfish out the poemin the bottle from the pond. Show it to Alice to learn that thefinal location is the Jabberwock’s lair.
Where To Find The Jabberwock
Trek up the path from the beachto the Forest of Valor. You’re looking for ahouse of bark in a wooded yard, which can be tricky depending on your layout. Seek theback corner to the westof the forest fora large log with glowing yellow eyes inside.
Once you find the Jabberwock’s lair,speak with Alice. The Jabberwock bites her and she determines that you’ll need to scare the beast away with light. She sends you to gocraft Wonderland Candlesto brighten up the forest.
Head to a Crafting Station and use the following materials tomake six Wonderland Candles:
With the candles crafted,place them around the Jabberwock’s lair. Approach the log andopen the chest within to collect the Kaleidoscope. Share it with Alice tocomplete the quest and earn additional friendshippoints with her!
