Your list of Dateables isn’t confined just to attractive objects and saucy philosophical concepts, either - you can also date everything from the game’s credits, to your work app, to even the UI you’re reading the game on.

Textbox-chan is one of the more elusive Dateables in Date Everything!, and even once you do find her, you’ll need to put in some work around the house to get her to fall for you - she’s how you experience the game, after all, so go experience it!

Where To Find Textbox-Chan

To trigger Textbox-chan’s appearance in Date Everything!, you’ll need touse the Dateviators on any menu that doesn’t contain dialogue. This can be done in one of two ways:

How To Change Your Relationship With Textbox-Chan

To progress through the scenes with Textbox-chan in Date Everything! and spend time improving your relationship, she’ll ask that you talk to her after you’vemet certain benchmark numbers of Dateablesaround the house. Since Textbox-chan is how you play the game, she wants you toenjoy experiencing the UIas you play.

Check your Date-a-Dex often, since Textbox-chan will have new scenes once you’ve met16, 41, 60,and80of the other Dateables in the game.

Getting Textbox-chan’s love ending in Date Everything!

You don’t have to progress these relationships in any way for her to be willing to talk; while there are definitelycharacters in the gamewhose appearance relieson you having finished at least one other character’s ending, Textbox-chan just cares that you’ve formally met them and logged them into your Date-a-Dex.

You can push Textbox-chan to keep talking if you’ve already hit the requisite number of Dateables, but she won’t be too happy about it. Don’t push her if you want a good ending.

Meeting Lauren Ipsum in Date Everything!

In all situations, you’ll want tocompliment the features she mentionsabout designing a UI, like font choice, color, and more. She wants to know that you’re actually seeingher, not just using her to see the other Dateables, sosupport Textbox-chanand always try to compliment her during her scenes.

Love

You won’t lock in Textbox-chan’s love ending until herfinal scene, provided you’ve been complimentary of her appearance and understanding of her desire to be useful. She’ll ask you what you think of her during this last scene, so choose"I think you have some really great ideas"with an emoji face to progress into her love ending.

She’ll confirm this decision by saying she loves you, so tell her"I’m yours"to lock in Textbox-chan’s love ending in Date Everything!

Friends

Like the love ending, you’ll need to reach Textbox-chan’slast hangout scene, which requires you to speak to her again after meeting 80 Dateables. You’ll need to have been nice to Textbox-chan along the way, and choose"I think you have some really great ideas"when prompted.

However, when Textbox-chan confesses her feelings to you in this final scene, tell her"I’m sorry, I just want to be friends"to conform Textbox-chan’s friends ending.

Hate

There are plenty of chances to make Textbox-chan hate you - all you really need to do isinsult or blow off the game’s UIwhen she asks you about it during her scenes. If you do make it to the end of her relationship, though, you can also make Textbox-chan hate you byonlycalling her attractive, since she wants to be utilitarian as well.

You can lock in Textbox-chan’s hate ending by choosing"You are so pretty, Textbox-chan, so beautiful and stylish"during her final scene when she asks what you like about her because of this.
