It won’t take you a lot of progress inRune Factory: Guardians Of Azumato realize that a lot of the game’s combat relies on your stats. You can see these stats on both your character and your allies, and they single-handedly decide the outcome of most battles, allowing you to even defeat much higher-level enemies with good stats.

There are many ways to increase these stats, but the most important thing is to understand exactly what they do first. Depending on the build you’re going for, you’d want to upgrade some specific stats in different ways.

Every Stat In Rune Factory: Guardians Of Azuma

There are essentially two different types of stats in Rune Factory: Guardians Of Azuma:ones that are permanently available on your character like STR and MND, and the other that is thesum of your permanent and temporary statsthat you get from equipment and other mechanics. Both of these stats are visible on your Gear screen in the main menu.

You can see your total stats (the sum of both) on the bottom-right of the screen when you’re on the main character, while thepermanent stats are visible after you press the “Stats & Skills” button on the bottom right. STR

This stat gives a direct boost to your physical damage, which means your damage fromevery weapon except Sacred Treasure and Talismans.

This one simply gives you extradefense against enemy’s physical attacks.

INT

This is where things get interesting, as you don’t usually see the INT stat in games. This essentiallyincreases the damage you deal with your magic attacksincluding Talismans.

MND

Similar to VIT, this stat alsoincreases your defense, but only from magic attacks. It’s important to have high MND since a lot of bosses have magic attacks.

DEX

Finally, this is another important stat in Rune Factory: Guardians Of Azuma as itdirectly gives you one percent Crit Rate for each point.

When you’re in the extra stat screen, you can directlymatch the stat’s position on the top to the stats on the bottom right.

For example, STR correlates to ATK, MND correlates to M.DEF, and so on.
