As has become tradition for all multiplayer games,Rematchhas a battle pass. While it isn’t filled with weapons or munitions, you’ll instead find various cosmetic options for your player. You’ll be able to earn many rewards for free, but if you want everything, you’ll need to purchase an Upgrade Ticket.

Upon first glance, the battle pass appears very much in line with the industry standard, but Sloclap has found small ways to put its own twist on the formula. Here’s everything you need to know about season progression in Rematch.

Pass Chapters, Explained

After you navigate to the Season menu, you’ll notice that it issplit into three separate parts. While a season may last for around 90 days, Sloclapdoesn’t give you access to all rewards from the start. Instead, thefirst chapter will be available immediately, and the remaining two will beunlocked as the months roll on.

This is to keep progression exciting throughout the season and prevent people from earning everything too quickly.

After opening any part of the pass, you’ll notice thatrewards are placed within nodes, offering youdifferent pathsto progress down. This lets youprioritize the items that you would like to earn first, but you arenot locked out of any pathsand candouble back whenever you like.

Tier Tokens, Explained

Pass rewards arepurchased by using Tier Tokens. These aregained every time you accrue 1,750 XP. Once you have some, you canpurchase a tier on one of the nodes, or you canbank themand buy out an entire node all at once.

you may continue earning Tier Tokens even after you’ve claimed all the rewards in a given chapter, letting you prepare for the next.

You’ll only have access to the free rewards unless youpurchase a Captain Pass. This will let youcollect the items with a yellow lock on them, and any that you have previously purchased will beretroactively added to your pool of customization options.
