If there is one thing the Internet has become quite skilled at, it’s taking a viral moment, turning it into a viral meme, and then refusing to let that thing die until something even funnier or better comes around. If you need any proof, just remember that “Chicken Jockey” was a thing for averylong time earlier this year.
Such has been the case for the couple who were caught mid-fling at a Coldplay concert when they were showcased on a kiss-cam, a moment that has resulted in the two being put on leave.
Now, that moment will live on forever in the form of a video game. And not just any video game, the kind of video game that will let you re-live the moment over and over again, all in the name of getting the highest score possible.
It’s “Where’s Waldo” For Extremely Embarrassing Real-Life Moments
Taking to social media, Jonathan Mann, the viral creator responsible for the “Song A Day” videos, shared a browser-based game, appropriately titled “Coldplay Canoodlers.”
It’s a rather simple game; players take the role of the cameraman, using their computer mouse to find the digitized couple canoodling in the crowd. Once you find them, the real-life footage of the affair will begin playing in-engine. Each time you find them, you’re awarded 10 points. Rinse and repeat until your heart is content.
It’s not perfect, but it is absolutely hilarious. Long live the Coldplay couple.
