Labubus have gotten so unbelievably popular and hype, and have been the biggest talk of 2025 pop culture, that we now even have a topic revolving around video game characters potentially collecting them. These little Gremlin-like dolls, designed by artist Kasing Lung and sold via Pop Mart, are known for their cute yet mischievous appearance, and come in many varieties, including rare Labubus.
While Labubus haven’t invaded video games yet (aside from Roblox) or received real-life collaborations with iconic video game series, never say never. If these toy collectibles were to exist in video game universes, you could bet that the following characters would love nothing more than to collect and own these lovable furry monsters.
10Cassie Drake
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Cassandra Drake, or just Cassie, is the daughter of famous treasure hunter and daring collector of antiquities Nathan Drake. She appears as a playable character in the epilogue of Uncharted 4, introduced along with their family dog, Vicky. According to the Adventure Life Magazine issue you can examine, Cassie definitely shares her parents' love for adventure.
However, I feel like if Labubus were to exist in the Uncharted universe, then Pop Mart would probably take all the Drake family’s money. Cassie would definitely want all the new Labubus to decorate her room with as many as she can. Nate probably won’t be too thrilled, because he loves the thrill and danger that comes with collecting precious artifacts, but he’s a good dad.
9Ellie, Jesse, And Dina
The Last Of Us Part 2
Naughty Dog characters with an even more valid reason to be collecting Labubus are Ellie, Dina, and Jessie in The Last of Us Part 2. Backpacks are one of the most prominent accessories our survivors have with them when they go out on runs, or more specifically, when these three head to Seattle to seek revenge on Abby and her crew and avenge Joel’s death.
The awesome part about Labubus is that you can clip them onto your backpack, so the toy will be dangling from these characters as they roam through the map. Seeing Ellie, Dina, and Jesse be collectors who can trade and complement each other’s Labubu would be fun to see. You do collect a fictional TCG in The Last of Us Part 2, but maybe Labubus were already a thing when Cordyceps hit the fan.
8The Tabby Cat
Stray
Listen, even animals need support animals. Think of all the times your dog might’ve wanted their favorite toy when you go on walks or to the vet. Well, Stray is an even more stressful time for a tabby cat who’s separated from a group of cats and must now fend off bug-like creatures called Zurks while wandering alone in a cyberpunk city populated with creepy but friendly robots.
The cat from Stray could definitely use some support toys to provide a more comforting journey, and that would almost certainly be a Labubu doll, which, although still very creepy, would be the least creepy thing in the game. If Lababus were scattered throughout the environment, this tabby would certainly snatch one to playand show off more cat behaviors. It can even be a collectible in the game.
7Sam Porter Bridges
Death Stranding Series
Honestly, a Labubu update for Death Stranding 2 would be such a Hideo Kojima thing to do. This creative genius is all about pop culture, embracing the celebrity, and has a ton of Hollywood starsand filmmakers in his game. German-Turkish film director Fatih Akin is even a doll character named Doll Man in DS2, hanging off Sam like Mimir on their travels. What if a Labubu doll joined him as an accessory?
Sam is a porter, so maybe part of the rewards he receives for dropping off his cargo are various Labubu doll designs. Imagine Sam just roaming and fighting his way through the BT-ridden apocalyptic landscape with a ton of Labubus hanging off his gear, with no limit as to how many Labubus you can equip. And you know who else would like to play with a Labubu? Lou, of course.
6FBC Agent Kiran Estevez
Alan Wake 2
In the Remedy Connected Universe, the only reason the FBC’s Agent Kiran Estevez would have for collecting Labubus is if they were paranatural Objects of Power that could cause Altered World Events (A.W.E.s), so let’s say they are. There is a theory circulating on social media that Labubus are, in fact, possessed dolls tied to Pazuzu and could actually be demonic, which would fit into the lore of Alan Wake 2 and Control.
Will we see Labubus at the Federal Bureau of Control building in Control 2? I wouldn’t be surprised if Sam Lake decided to use it as an Easter egg to all this discourse of them being demonic dolls. In The Lake House DLC, Agent Estevez did fight off the Painted, the new terrifying demonic entities peeling off painted canvases, so Labubus wouldn’t be the scariest possessed artwork the FBC encountered.
5Tiny Tina
Borderlands Series
In the Borderlands series, Tiny Tina is the demolitions expert, meaning she likes when things go ‘Boom!’ Part of her arsenal are bombs that can be attached to toys, as you saw in Borderlands 2, so she would definitely like to have some Labubus for safekeeping as another toy to tinker with into an explosive device that you could use in combat.
She could possibly create something akin to the Cymbal Monkey bomb from Call of Duty Zombies, just with Labubus as the toy explosive. Labubus may not workas a pop culture reference for a gun in Borderlands 4, but for Tiny Tina and her explosives, it wouldn’t be too odd to see something called a ‘Labubu Grenade.’
4Dora
Hades 2
Dora is Melinoe’s friend at the Crossroads in Hades 2, a shade who likes to mess with Melinoe and be a little snarky and sarcastic sometimes. Her personality is actually symbolic of a Labubu doll. Labubus look sweet but also have a bit of a menacing side to them with their mouth and eyes, so Dora could really even be her own Hades 2 Labubu collab.
However, Dora’s job in the Crossroads, when she’s not scaring Melinoe, is to be in charge of the Crossroads Renewal Projectand help decorate the Crossroads hub. Dora would absolutely dress these grounds with Labubus if they existed within Greek mythology. Or, psst, Supergiant, incorporate Pygmalion into Hades 2 and change the myth to that he fell in love with the Labubus he sculpted.
3The Doom Slayer
Doom Series
The mighty Doom Slayer on this list? You might be thinking, why on Mars would he collect Labubus? Well, although the Slayer is known formowing down hordes of demons, whether with rockets, plasma rifles, shield saws, or a regular chainsaw, there are also toy collectibles in the game that the Slayer can pick up. These come in the form of little Funko-style figures modeled after all the enemies and even one of the Slayer himself.
Labubus are pretty creepy and are demonic-looking themselves. To the Slayer, it’s probably a trophy symbolizing all the demons he killed and sent back to hell. The mouth of a Labubu doll also eerily resembles the open mouth of a Cacodemon (an image you’ll now always associate with Doom). Coincidence? I think not.
2Jimmy De Santa
Grand Theft Auto 5
Like with any hyped product, the one downside to Labubus is scalpers who collect boxes of them only to resell them for a way higher price to scam desperate buyers who’ve become obsessed with these dolls, especially if there’s one in particular you desire. One video game character you could totally see partaking in this Labubu scheme is Michael De Santa’s son, Jimmy, from GTA 5.
Jimmy is a gamer sleazebag who’s always looking to make a quick buck with daddy’s money. When selling his father’s boat behind his back goes awry, scalping Labubus is certain to be his next resort. He has the time on his hands to wait for the new Labubu drop to buy out all the toys and then resell them for hundreds to influencers or parents rich enough to buy them for their kids.
1The New Kid
South Park Video Games
It would totally be a South Park thing to do if, in the next video game, instead of collecting Chinpokomon, you, as The New Kid, would be collecting Lafufus (the fake version of Labubus). South Park always loves to meme current events, and Labubus will absolutely be fair game for Trey Parker and Matt Stone. With how quick the creators are, you could definitely expect an episode about them in Season 27.
You could see a mission where Labubus becomes an important quest item, Cartman bragging about how he has the best Labubus and then getting irritated by the New Kid when they acquire some form of legendary Labubu as a reward, or Lafufus just being sold on the black market in South Park, and you have to put a stop to it. This would be hilarious and quite fitting for a South Park game.
