The daughter of an esteemed racer, Air Groove is not to be taken lightly. Known as the ‘Empress’ by other students, she wants to not only live up to her mother’s legacy but surpass it.
Being the vice president of the student council at the academy, she has alot of responsibilities to uphold. However, she still does what she can and makes time for her gardening hobby in between her training.

Don’t mess with this intellectual master, otherwise you will be up against not just the world’s most luxurious hair, but also mind. Biwa Hayahide is a logistical mastermind who uses logic to secure her victories.
Her goal in the races is to perfect her winning formula that she is working on. While she talks alot about her theories, you have to train her well to help her get the results she needs to win and figure out her theories.

Trying and coming second isn’t enough for this fiery hothead. If Daiwa Scarlet isn’t the best, then it’s not good enough for her, meaning you will have to tryhard to help herwith her goal of becoming the number one Umamusume.
While she’s always determined to be number one, she is also willed to best her rival Vodka in any race she can. Daiwa Scarlet might seem arrogant, but once you get to know her, you start to understand her drive and passion for her goals is more than just self-entitlement.
This North American-born Uma has been training in not just racing but also pro-wrestling. El Condor Pasa is a high-energy masked legend who considers herself the world’s most powerful and strongest Uma.
When she isn’t drooling over spicy food, El Condor Pasa is busy training her body to get even stronger or even wrestling her fellow students. This is one Uma who is proud and loud of all their roots, and you can’t help but cheer her name in support.

Just like herreal horse counterpart, Gold Ship is one of the most peculiar trainees, and you won’t find any other quite as strange as her. This unpredictable Uma is a mischief maker who changes her desires on a whim, all in the name of being as silly as possible.
From drop-kicking you when she wins to telling an extremely out-there joke for absolutely no reason, you will never be able to predict what she will do next. Both in real life and in the Uma world, Gold Ship is a hilarious icon of the horse-racing scene.

This friendly Uma is one who races to win and values little else. Grass Wonder is neat and tidy in the way she acts, making sure to respect the tradition and culture of Japan with all of her heart while also being approachable and friendly to all of her Uma classmates.
Despite having an American upbringing, her parents' intense love of all things Japan left a large imprint on her with her growing up sharing this love. After moving to Japan, Grass Wonder now competes to show everyone she is not the average Uma and places her will to win above all else.

This sweet little Uma has an energy-filled personality that brings smiles to everyone around her, thanks to her sheer unyielding spirit and cuteness. Haru Urara may not be the most skilled Uma, but fansacross the globe love herand want to train her to win it all, as she deserves.
The real world horse Haru Urara did not win a single race in her entire career, and we can’t let that stand, as even in game, she starts out with a losing streak. If you haven’t already, you better get started on helping her adorable face win her first race in game, or else you’re going to make everyone upset.

King Halo is one of the most prideful Umas around who just wants to prove herself worthy of the title of ‘King’ to her parents and classmates. While they all see her as worthy already, she still trains her hardest to overcome any opponents with her unbreakable spirit.
Having such a regal goal, she is quite well-mannered and will not do anything that is not befitting of royalty. As her trainer, you may feel like her butler or royal knight, but she respects those around her with more than just an undermining foot.

This speed demon of an Uma is not only about enjoying the speed on the racetrack but also on the road. Maruzensky loves speed more than anything in the world, and alongside her hot rod car, she zooms around everywhere she goes in style and in confidence.
Since the real Maruzensky that she is inspired by is one of the oldest horses represented in Umamusume, Maruzensky talks with a lot of old-fashioned slang. This, along with her kind down-to-earth heart, makes her feel even more like an older sister to all her fellow Umas.
