It might be hard to believe, butAssassin’s Creed Shadowswasreleased well over 120 days ago. In the time since its release, it’s received a number of updates, including some much-needed parkour features, alongwith the ability to quick-sell multiple items.

That said, the updates still aren’t quite finished yet,as its first expansion, Claws of Awaji, is set to release later this September. Ahead of that,Ubisoftreleased a “Summer Roadmap” for the game, which will also see a number of quality-of-life changes that should make fans of the game particularly happy.

With One Press Of A Button, The Map Will No Longer Be Full Of Fog

As noted on Ubisoft’s website, at the beginning of September, well before Claws of Awaji releases on Sept. 16, players will finally be able to “unfog” the map of Shadows after completing viewpoint synchronizations in various regions.

“I know it seems so small, but unfogging the map will make me redownload and finish the game,“one user wrote in response to the news on Reddit.

Not only will you be able to clear out the map more easily, but you’ll also be able to change the time of day at the flick of a button. “Those are my two biggest annoyances with the game, so I’m glad that’s actually being fixed,” another user shared.

Before those updates hit in September, New Game+ will come to the game next Tuesday. That, plus a new level cap increase (from 60 to 80), along with new Trophies and Achievements, will all mark the first entries in the larger “Summer Roadmap.” Together, it helps give a fresh coat of paint to Shadows before its 10-plus hour expansion drops.
