The Legend of Zeldafranchise is packed full of food, with some being more appealing than others. We’ve all seen Link eat a dish and thought to ourselves, “wow, that looks delicious”. Food in the franchise almost has a Ghibli-esque appeal, filled with bright colors and cute icons.

So, which food looks the tastiest? Here, you can find some foods that we would definitely only eat if that were an option. These come from several games in the franchise, but tend to be from newer entries, as older Legend of Zelda games didn’t have food or a food-making mechanic present.

The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom

First up, we have the Milky Sweet Smoothie from Echoes of Wisdom. Rather than cooking dishes in this game, Zelda gathers ingredients in order tomake a wide range of smoothies from the Smoothie Shop. In all honestly, nearly every smoothie in the game looks amazing.

If we had to choose one though, it would be this simple smoothie that is made with just milk and floral nectar. The little pink flower and wooden stir stick really just add to the charm of this smoothie, making us crave a taste.

The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

The Meat-Stuffed Pumpkin can be found in Tears of the Kingdom, but it wasfirst introduced in Breath of the Wild. Sure, pumpkins can be stuffed with meat in real life, but the art style of the game really ramps up the delicious vibes of this meal.

Although it’s only made with any meat and one pumpkin, you can see little bits of other veggies and what seems to be a Legend of Zelda-version of basil. Overall, this specific stuffed pumpkin is making our mouths water.

Since this is made with any type of meat, you’re able to really customize the dish if you want to actually make it in real life! Personally, I don’t eat meat, but there are tons of meat substitutes that you can use (or imagine) instead.

Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is anon-canon musou gamethat lets you wipe out hundreds of enemies in a short amount of time. All this battling can get tiring though, so there is a range of food items that you’re able to make, including the Ceremonial Platter.

This dish is made for the five champions, and you’re able to tell just by looking at it. There are five ‘burgers’, with one of them being made out of rock (for Daruk, of course). Maybe that won’t taste too good, but we are very curious about the tastes of the other champions.

The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker

In Wind Waker, Link’s grandma makes a soup that restores both magic and HP. On top of that, it doubles his power until damage is taken. Imagine that; a bottle of soup that instantly makes you feel stronger. While it may not be mouthwatering, this power is definitely appealing.

We’ve all felt under the weather and had a bowl of soup in order to feel a bit better. With an Elixir Soup, you are guaranteed to not only feel better, but also better than normal. If this was real, we would totally carry around a few bottles.

Okay, we know that you can make some bread with melted cheese on it in real life, but there is no denying that this dish looks delicious. With just Tabantha Wheat and Hateno Cheese, Link can create a dish with perfectly-melted cheese.

Interestingly, if you throw one more ingredient into the mix (a Hylian Tomato), you get a completely different dish. These three ingredients will create a Hylian Tomato Pizza, which also has some olives and peppers on top. Who doesn’t love a classic pizza?

The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask

Chateau Romani is a very expensive milk that you canbuy in Majora’s Mask, coming straight from special cows on Romani Ranch. What’s so special about milk? The truth is, we don’t know! The milk is supposedly valuable, and it also provides unlimited magic for a period of time.

Based on the value and effect, we are itching to know what Chateau Romani tastes like. Since it’s also known as Vintage Milk, it may have a rich taste. On the other hand, it may just have some added ingredients; either way, we want to drink it!

The Legend Of Zelda: Minish Cap

The Jabber Nut isn’t a dish; instead, it’s a simple little nut that grants Link the ability to understand the language of the Minish. Imagine a little nut that lets you understand a language; it sounds appealing, huh?

The Minish (probably) don’t exist in real life, but what if a real Jabber Nut lets you understand a real-world language? The translation doesn’t go both ways, but this can come in handy during travel. If the Jabber Nut existed, we would eat it all the time and travel around the world!

Last but not least, we have the Honeyed Apple from Breath of the Wild. Like a lot of food in the game, you can also make this in Tears of the Kingdom. This is another simple dish that you can actually make, but it just looks so tasty in-game. Honey is a fairly basic ingredient, but the way it looks dripping off the apple is so appealing.

Additionally, we would love to sink our teeth into the hunk of honeycomb next to the apple. Similarly, we would also like to taste Honeyed Fruits, which adds a variety of new fruits to the platter.
