Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, the best Dragon Ball game out there, has been confirmed to be getting aNintendo Switch 2port at today’s Partner Showcase.

Although many of us were hoping that July’s rumoured Nintendo Direct would be focused on first-party games,it was confirmed earlier this week to be a Partner Showcase. In the original Switch’s lifetime, that might have been a bit disappointing, but there are so manygames rumoured for the Switch 2 that it’s actually quite a big deal.

So far, one of the publishers who has been supporting the Switch 2 the most isBandai Namco, which we’ve seen throughElden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Tamagotchi Plaza, and even its work onKirby Air Riders. As great as those all are, though, one of the most requested Switch 2 ports has been for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.

Sparking Zero is coming to the Switch 2, and I’m ready to lose my life to it all over again

It even comes with motion controls

During today’s Partner Showcase, a ton of different ports and games were revealed. For my money, though, the most exciting of the bunch was the reveal of a Switch 2 port of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. I’ve been on the record many times about how much I love Sparking Zero, and I’ve thought it’d be perfect for the Switch 2 since the console launched.

Sparking Zero is somehow also coming to the original Switch, which seems like it’s going to be a bit of a disaster, honestly.

Those dreams are finally going to be a reality, as the Partner Direct confirmed Sparking Zero is coming to the Switch 2 later this year on November 14. It looks to be pretty much the same as on other consoles, although there is a unique motion control mode that is very reminiscent of Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii.

Beyond that, this is Sparking Zero as you know it, but with portable capabilities. Since the Switch 2 port releases by the time all of the DLC is planned to be finished, it’ll be interesting to see if it comes with everything as a sort of complete edition. We’ll have to wait for more information on the ports, but fingers crossed.
