If you’re walking into any of theDark Soulsgames looking for love, you’re not playing them right. Even so, the trilogy is filled to the brim with a cast of characters that will at the very least pique your interest. From the ones who have their quests to complete to those who remain firmly planted, you’d be lying if you said you never looked up one of their Wikis.

Whether it’s their natural charisma, the mystery that surrounds them, or their Chosen Undead-To-Rights good looks, here are some of the Dark Souls characters who are at the top of the courting list.

Solaire Of Astora from Dark Souls.

1Solaire Of Astora

Praise The Sun!

Are you surprised that our boy with the feather is at the top of this list? Even all these years later, Solaire is the unofficial mascot of the Dark Souls trilogy, despite being almost completely the opposite of everything it stands for. Still, that is what makes him so attractive: his attitude.

This is a guy who is surrounded by a crumbling kingdom filled with the undead and various monstrosities, but he still finds positive energy in something as simple as the sun. Reaching theend of his questmakes me wish I could be his shoulder to cry on.

Gwynevere from Dark Souls.

2Gwynevere, Princess Of Sunlight

Yes, My Lady

Whatever thoughts you have about this entry, I would like you to set them aside for now. Just chill for a second. Much like Solaire, Gwynevere has a presence and an atmosphere that fills you with warmth. Considering that she appears right after one of the most demanding boss fights in Dark Souls, she’s an overwhelmingly comfortable sight in more ways than one.

Her chambers are arguably the safest area in the entire game, and she’s nothing but polite and kind towards you, speaking in a voice as soft as the pillows she lies on. The fact that she’s a giant woman with a gorgeous appearance is just a bonus to her overall demeanor, which I’d like to get to know better.

Marvelous Chester from Dark Souls.

3Marvelous Chester

How Marvelous

Introduced in the Artorias Of The Abyss DLC, Marvelous Chester is a mystery, more so than the other Dark Souls characters. This is because the moment you see him, you know he doesn’t belong, and he knows the same about you. His behavior is aloof and coy, with a sinister air about him that always makes things a bit tense.

But that’s one of the attractive qualities about him: the sense of danger that he evokes. He also has a dark sense of humor, which appeals to a hidden side in all of humanity. He’s also a stylish dresser, so I think he’d know many fun and exciting spots to visit.

Shanalotte from Dark Souls 2.

4Shanalotte (Emerald Herald)

Got A Lot Going On

Shanalotte is one of the most memorable parts ofDark Souls 2, and no, it’s not just because she does all the leveling up. Well, okay, maybe that’s part of it, but also just your first meeting with her. She’s the first somewhat normal person that you meet in the game, overlooking a serene but still dark coastal view, and speaking forlornly.

She perks up a bit as time goes on, but you get the sense that she’s carrying a much heavier weight than she lets on. The more you learn about her, the more intriguing she becomes. This dainty and powerful maiden has a lot on her shoulders, and I’d like to help her lift it.

Stone Trader Chloanne from Dark Souls 2.

5Stone Trader Chloanne

Rockin' And Rollin'

This woman rocks in several ways. Stone Trader Chloanne is a smaller part of the Dark Souls 2 cast despite offering several beneficial services. Her defining characteristic is a passion for stones, especially valuable ones. Seeing as you’re constantly trying to upgrade your equipment, you already have something in common.

Even though she’s a young woman with a nice figure, Chloanne is not someone to be trifled with. She’s a trained blacksmith, survivor, and likely warrior, as she was able to obtain stones dropped by dangerous enemies or found in lethal locations. Chloanne, let’s run away and open a quarry together.

Siegward of Catarina from Dark Souls 3.

6Siegward Of Catarina

This Onion Makes You Cry

In a world as harsh asDark Souls 3, you’ve got to admire determination and commitment. Those may be the most attractive qualities of Siegward of Catarina, this game’s resident Onion Knight. You’ll get to know him quite intimately as he has the longest questline in the game, often requiring help from you, and will even aid you in specific battles, including the Lord of Cinder, Yhorm, The Giant.

He’s also got an endearing sense of naivety, being tricked by Patches into losing his armor and forced to hide in a well. But even despite it all, he maintains a friendly and jovial nature, happy to share his brew with you. After everything he’s gone through, I want to treat Siegward to a lovely evening, especially knowing that he can cook too.

Sister Friede from Dark Souls 3.

7Sister Friede

Nun Of Your Business

Even though the Ashes of Ariandel DLC received a mixed reception, it can’t be denied that it had a fair number of challenges. A large part of that credit goes to Sister Friede, a somber woman with a distinct goth vibe, who is often found in the cathedral’s safe zone.

She’s calm and collected, willing to accept her fate in a world that’s being destroyed, and she advises you to let it happen. She tries the passive approach, and when that doesn’t work, she picks up a scytheand revives herself twice to take you down. I’m a fan of strong women, and Sister Friede is all that plus an alluring amount of dignity.

Company Captain Yorshka from Dark Souls 3.

8Company Captain Yorshka

Both Princess And Dragon

Even though Dark Souls isn’t a traditional fantasy story, it does have the “princess trapped in a tower” trope. By exploring Lothric, you may be fortunate enough to find an invisible path that leads you to an isolated tower where Company Captain Yorshka sits.

She’s a lovely and elegant dragon lady leading the Darkmoon Blades Covenant. When speaking to her, she displays a genuine curiosity, as well as an acceptance of her role and situation. She yearns for adventure, and I can’t help but want to give it to her, magic carpet ride optional.
