Summary

The First Descendant’splayer count has been in freefall since it launched. It seems merely relying on jiggle physics and raunchy skins isn’t enough to hold on to players. Even the newhot spring update wasn’t enough to solve the issue, as it merely provided a temporary bump in the overall player count.

While the gameplay isn’t anything to write home about, fans of the game are pretty open about why they like the game – for its revealing skins and jiggle physics. While that might not be what draws most people, to each their own. However, it seems even those that have stayed loyal to the game aren’t happy with its latest skin.

Who Let The Dogs Out?

Nexon Games revealed The Last Descendant’s latest skin and fans don’t like it at all. Instead of the usual revealing skin, this one is of an adorable labrador in overalls. Perhaps this was an attempt by the devs to try something different, but it seems the community knows what it wants, and it’s not cute dogs.

“Is this what you chose to make with the Hot Spring skin profit?” asked one very confused fan. “Was Nexon hacked?” asked another. This cute skin is undoubtedly a departure from what the game is known for, and, while it’s pretty cute, it seems fans want more revealing skins for The First Descendant.

“I mean, I personally have no interest in this, but for those who like this sorta stuff, you go guys. I guess,” said another player. It seems most of the community is waiting for the next skin reveal, while others are waiting for this summer’s 2B skin from Nier: Automata. “Skins is all we get, it’s terrible.” said another, who was probably hoping for some new playable content.

Unfortunately, this attempt by Nexon to try something new has clearly backfired. While there are some who think the skin is neat, most players feel like it defeats the purpose of why they’ve stayed on with the game.
