Summary

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remasteredhas taken the pudgy game that we all know and loved, and has given it a major face-lift.Despite there being some initial skepticism, almost every aspect of the game has been improved visually, whether that be the game’s NPCs or the environment. New visual details have also been added, such as the ability to see through Oblivion gates.

Many of the game’s enemies now have much more detailed models too, making goblins and the undead look a lot more threatening. However, there’s one particular enemy that has been getting a bit more attention than others, as it appears the entire Oblivion fanbase is drooling over Flame Atronachs.

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered Subreddit Bans Flame Atronach Thirst Posts

Ever since the release of Oblivion Remastered, you’ve been able to find some kind of thirst post about Flame Atronachs on the Oblivion subreddit. you’re able to find them posed on beds,in compromising positions, and their newly improved “features” beingbounced around with the game’s ragdoll physics.

In fact, Flame Atronach thirst posts have been so frequent on the Oblivion subreddit that the mods have finally had enough. In a new post, a mod called Crystlazar revealed that the problem has gotten so bad that posts lusting over Flame Atronachs are now banned, claiming that “we cannot take any more” alongside a compilation of various different Flame Atronach thirst posts.

But, of course, you can’t stop the Oblivion gooners. After the news broke, fans began to turn to other creatures to get their rocks off, and the Frost Atronach was the next sensible replacement.A user called Gavou very quickly found and posted an image of a caked-up Frost Atronachto get around the ban, and the mods graciously admitted defeat.

It was then revealed that the ban on thirst posts has been expanded, as the Oblivion subreddit will no longer allow posts “explicitly just to show the curvy atronachs or spriggans”. It’s a sad day for thirsty Oblivion fans everywhere.
