The Rogue isLast Epoch’s ranged and melee hybrid class, capable of striking from the shadows with dual-wielded melee weapons, or taking down enemies from afar with a bow. No matter which path you choose for your Rogue, there are a variety of Unique items that can improve your build.
Aside from weapons, most Uniques can be equipped by any class in the game, so there’s quite a bit of build customization you may do. Below, we’ll take a look at several of the best Uniques to look out for while playing a Rogue.
7Scissor Of Atropos
Scissor of Atropos is a Unique Falchion that is used for avariety of different Bladedancer builds. It may not have flashy effects or buffs, but it does have very high flat damage stats, providing flat Melee Damage, increased Attack Speed, and levels of Melee Skills, letting you squeeze a bit more out of your primary attacks.
Scissor of Atropos is also a Weaver’s Will item, so it can, somewhat randomly, roll even more stats, potentially making it even stronger. This weapon is best used when dual-wielded with another melee weapon that provides more build-tailored effects.
6Talons Of Valor
Talons of Valor is a Unique bow that is used for Falconer builds. Not only does the Talons of Valor provide very high flat Bow Damage, it also increases the skill levels of Falconry, Dive Bomb, and Aerial Assault, letting you get even more out of these skills' trees.
This weapon also increases your Falcon’s Melee damage whenever you Critically Strike, and Critically Striking will also recover your Falcon Abilities, like Dive Bomb or Falcon Strikes, by 25 percent. This weapon provides so much damage and utility that it’s almost essential for Falconer builds that use at least two Falconry skills.
5Uethrin’s Stand
Uethrin’s Stand is a best-in-slot weapon for any build that uses Ballistae, which is one of the top Falconer builds for almost every piece of content. This bow not only has great implicits, providing additional Bow Damage and Critical Strike Chance, but its modifiers improve Bow Physical Damage for Minions, including Ballistae.
Additionally, Uethrin’s Stand lets you summon two additional Ballistae, providing tons of extra damage and utility. This Bow also provides two Resistances, Cold and Physical, making it easier to hit these caps on the rest of your gear, potentially allowing you to fit in even stronger items elsewhere.
4Melvern’s Writ
Melvern’s Writ is another great option for Ballista builds, providing increased Minion Bow Damage and Minion Bow Critical Strike Chance. This Unique Relic also provides the exclusive Crossbow Mercenaries, which are automatically summoned a few seconds after they die. These Mercenaries also scale off the Minion and Bow tags, so they’ll be almost as valuable as your own Ballistae.
Another great aspect of Melvern’s Writ is the Increased Chance to Find Potions stat, which synergizes incredibly well with the Elixer of Construction node in the Ballista skill tree, which increases the damage of your Ballista if you create it within four seconds of using a potion. Melvern’s Writ lets you keep your potion supply stocked up to provide this damage buff whenever you build a new Ballista.
3Phantom Grip
Phantom Grip is another incredible Unique for not only Ballista builds, but almost all Minion-based builds in general. Despite being primarily meant for Forge Guard, Phantom Grip works well with any type of Minions due to its increase to Minion Skill Levels and Minion Critical Strike Chance.
The ring slot on every class is a highly contested spot, as it will always be competing with theRed Ring of Atlaria, but Phantom Grip is superior for Minion builds, and especially Ballista builds for the Rogue.
2Dragonsong
Dragonsong is a Unique bow that provides very strong boosts to Fire Damage, primarily for Marksmen. Its stats increase Fire Damage, Attack Speed with Fire Skills, Critical Strike Chance with Fire Skills, and even levels of all your Fire Skills.
Dragonsong works best with Heartseeker when upgraded with the Molten Arrowstorm node to turn it into a Fire skill. This combo also pairs well with Calamity, which is a fairly common Unique Helmet that improves your fire damage even further.
1Black Blade Of Chaos
Bladedancer may be the least popular Mastery for the Rogue, but Black Blade of Chaos sets the class apart from its peers. This Unique two-handed sword improves the functionality of Lethal Mirage, especially when upgraded with the Shocking Grasp node that turns it into a Lightning Attack.
Essentially, Black Blade of Chaos makes Lethal Mirage come out much faster and resets its only cooldown with each melee hit. The downside is that Lethal Mirage no longer makes you invulnerable, but this defensive layer can be made up for in other ways, like Smoke Bomb or Decoy.
