Redcaps are one of the best examples of an enemy class that keeps you on your toes, but also provides worthwhile items you’ll need during your quests, like the Iron Tooth during Acts of Kindness. We’ll show you the best places to find Redcaps in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
What Are Redcaps?
Redcapsare small, goblin-like enemies that appear in both theHorns of the South and Cuanacht,particularly at night. Redcaps drop a handful of important materials and items that you’ll want to collect, including:
The Iron Tooth drops will be especially useful for making a potionduring the Acts of Kindness quest.
Where To Find Redcaps
WhileRedcaps appear more frequently during the Wyrd,these static Redcap spawns should provide plenty of opportunities to hunt these creatures for their rare loot drops.
Enemies will respawn in these locations once you rest, so you can return to these spots over and over to collect whatever items or XP you need from the Redcaps.
Horns Of The South – The Peninsula
We begin in theHorns of the South, to the west of the Peninsula,where you wash up on the beach. Here you’ll find two Redcaps along the shore.
Horns Of The South – East Of The Abandoned Stronghold
Head east fromthe fast travel location along the road. When youreach a fork, continue off the road to the northto find these Redcaps.
Horns Of The South – Northwest Of The Ancient Cromlech
Fast travel to the Ancient Cromlech fast travel point andhead north.These Redcaps are slightly north along the rocks next to some water.
Cuanacht – Petrified Visage
Fast travel to this location in thesouthern section of Cuanachtto find the Redcaps in the hidden cave. You’ll need to jump up onto the rock formation, then circle around thedescending path.
You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see some deserters camping along a cliff.
Cuanacht – South Of Wyrd Tower
Follow the road southward past the deserters to find a couple ofRedcaps hanging out by the junction.There are other enemies in the vicinity as well, so be careful while fighting.
The Wyrd Tower is one of thebest locations to farm Ethereal Cobwebs,so make a stop to grab some of it while you’re in the area.
