The Petal Update is here forRoblox: Dress to Impress! With it, we have a range of new clothing items, accessories, poses, and even some new patterns. In total, this update added 16 new patterns to Dress to Impress, with many of them giving off Spring vibes.
Out of the 16 patterns, which ones are the best? Here, we are going to be looking at just that. This list will cover a handful of the best Petal Update patterns based on overall appearance, as well as how well they apply to clothing. Sometimes, a pattern may look nice, but it may look wonky when actually used on clothing.
We tested each pattern with a simple top and a skirt.
7Kitten Flower Print
First up, we have this adorable pattern that features a little white kitten surrounded by daisies. Rather than looking distorted on clothing, this pattern does a great job of maintaining its shape. When used on textured items, the pink background pattern still holds up as well.
If you really want to showcase this pattern, a plain shirt will bring the kitten to the forefront. While this isn’t suitable for every theme in Dress to Impress, it definitely gives a cute vibe to any clothing that you put on.
6Blue & Green Flower Print
Flower prints are pretty common, right? Well, this brand-new flower pattern has more of a classic feel; using it doesn’t bring down the overall aesthetic of an outfit. The flowers here aren’t too overwhelming either.
Rather than being flower-heavy, this pattern really highlights the blue and green pattern that feels a bit vintage. If you are looking for a great flower pattern that doesn’t involve cartoon flowers, then this is the way to go.
5Granny Square Print
Granny squares are a type of crochet that involves making little squares, starting from the center. There are a lot of grid-based patterns in Dress to Impress, but this bright and colorful granny square pattern really brings a fun pop of color to any outfit.
This pattern also adds a slight illusion of texture. While the pattern itself is flat, you can’t help but imagine the texture of the crochet granny squares, giving this pattern some uniqueness. Even on a plain flat surface, these squares make a statement.
4Spotted Print
Animal prints can be a bit finicky and difficult to use, but this simple spotted print pattern is simplistic and clean enough to easily pull off. Presumably added alongside the lamb shoes and accessories, this can be used as an animal print or even as a replacement for polka dots.
Even if youput on an outfitwith a lot of different parts, these spots are simple enough not to look bad. For example, some items have different panels that may cause a pattern to look a bit wonky. Thankfully, that is not the case here!
3Teal & Gold Floral Print
This pattern was a bit hard to name, but it’s essentially teal and very pale gold swirls of leaves that give off a floral feel. While the pattern looks a bit busy at first (from the patterns menu), it looks great on pretty much everything!
You can definitely sense the Spring vibe with thisPetal Update pattern, but it can also be used in a variety of other situations. This is unlike some of the other Petal Update patterns, such as the apple print, which aren’t really up for interpretation.
2Pink Wavy Print
This pink wavy pattern is a bit hard to see, but that’s what earns it a spot on our list. Instead of being highly detailed and intricate, this pattern excels in looking white with a little bit of pink accents. It’s not the most exciting pattern of the bunch, but we appreciate its simplicity.
If you want to wear a white outfit with just a slight pop of color, this pink wavy pattern is the perfect choice. The waves are light and wavy enough to not look strange on outfits with multiple panels that can be altered.
1Gold Flower Print
Last but not least, we have this golden flower print. This pattern is another timeless option that doesn’t really clash with other colors or potential themes. The gold flowers stand out without being too distinct, and the shades of blue in the background really mesh well with the design.
Although this is definitely a floral pattern, the gold flowers aren’t too overpowering. We also appreciate the use of a shiny-looking gold, making the pattern feel a bit classier than one with just a typical yellow accent.
