With the release of season two during the Version 2.0 update, Pan Yinhu was the first four-star unit from the new season. While the defense units haven’t historically been the best outside of Caesar’s exception, he changes this by being quite a good unit in certain teams.
Pan Yinhu Best W-Engines
There aren’t a lot of Defense units in Zenless Zone Zero, which also means fewer W-Engines to choose from when it comes to Pan Yinhu.He also needs a ton of ATK, which you may’t find on most Defense engines. However, his best choice is undoubtedly his signature, the Tremor Trigram Vessel. Outside of that, you only have one other decent choice:

Apart from the 40 percent additional ATK that Pan Yinhu desperately needs, this engine also increases hisEX Special Attack and Ultimate damage by 40 percent. Moreover, he gets up to 3.2 energy whenever an ally gets attacked or regenerates HP.
Spring Embrace
As a secondary choice, this W-Engine also gives Pan Yinhu a 25 percent ATK bonus. While reducing his DMG taken, itgives him up to 16 percent additional Energy Regenwhen he gets attacked.
You cantransfer this regen to the character that you switch toafter triggering it on Pan Yinhu.

Astral Voice (4pc)
If you’re not using this set on anyone else in the team, it suits Pan Yinhu perfectly as it gives some ATK while increasing the main DPS' damage by up to 24 percent.
Swing Jazz (4pc)
If you are using the above set on another teammate, you’re able to use this on Pan Yinhu to give him some Energy Regen while providing a 15 percent DMG bonusto the party.

Pan Yinhu Best Bangboos
While you usually have quite a few choices for the Bangboo on a character, Pan Yinhuonly has one that properly synergizes with him. This is theS-Rank Belion Bangboo that you’re able to pull from the Bangboo gacha. Once acquired, as long as you have two Yunkui Summit characters in the team, it’ll help you deal more damage to the enemy.
If you don’t have this Bangboo,you can use Luckyboo or Cardboard Armoras generic boos in your team depending on the team members.

The choice of Pan Yinhu’s team is similar to his Bangboo as his main buff to the team is the extra Sheer Force. However,this stat can only be used by Rupture agents, and there’s only one of themin the game. Yixuan is also a member of the Yunkui Summit faction, letting him use the Bangboo mentioned above.
When it comes to the Drive Discs for this team, you’ll likelyneed Astral Voice on Astra,which leaves him with the four-piece Swing Jazz as the best option. It’s important to put Yixuan in the slot before Pan Yinhu in the team since his Quick Assist works backwards,which means it brings the character prior to him in the lineup.
