The arrival ofStellar Bladeto PC was a success:nearly 100,000 playersjumped right into Eve’s adventure in less than 24 hours after its launch, and the number keeps going up. This port means largely two things: first, that a far larger player base can now try out what the fuss about this former PS5 exclusive was, and secondly, but no less important, mods.

Crossover skins, controlling other characters, enhanced performance, and some funny details are only a few of the massive number of mods that you may download for free. We have gathered some of our favorite Stellar Blade modes below.

This list won’t include any NSFW mods.

10Mod Hub - Stellar Blade Mod Manager

Let’s start with a simple one. You need to keep your mods clean and well-organized, and DekitaRPG has your back. Install and manage everything from this Mod Hub, which you can customize to your liking with themes and colors.

Something to keep in mind is that this only works with mods from Nexus, which was the main source we used here for everything listed. If you download mods from other sites, it won’t work.

9Ultimate Engine Tweaks

Stellar Blade is a great port on PC that already works well if you have the recommended specs. But of course, we are playing on a computer with fewer hardware restrictions than a console: we want all the advantages we can get.

This mod by P40L0 is the most valued mod in Nexus, and for good reason: it has an Engine.ini file with modifications that help you have the most optimized experience possible. Anti-Aliasing, removed stuttering, input latency, shimmering, and ghosting, and improved performance are some of the changes that stand out in this mod.

8EVE2Tachy

Tachy is your partner during the first minutes of Stellar Blade, until something happens at the end of the tutorial. you’re able to only play as Eve, but maybe you wondered what controlling Tachy would feel like.

While this mod doesn’t change any moves and it’s only a visual change, the user likefengzi brought a reliable mod for those who prefer Tachy’s look. You’ll also have a matching drone and sword! Just keep in mind that the alternative outfits might not look that well on her.

If you prefer a weirder and classic meme, you can play as CJfrom GTA: San Andreas. Because why not?

7Improved Perfect Defense

Stellar Blade can be a difficult experience due to its heavy combat. Any type of enemy can be a menace while you’re starting to play, and as you go on, the fights only get more intense.

One mechanic that you should master is your parries, which can be tough with the game’s parry window. If you’re having issues, you can try Improved Perfect Defense. This mod doesn’t make it trivial; it adds a few extra frames to the time you have to parry, so it’s more of a reaction, and you don’t have to be so tight.

6Turn On And Off Cheats

Cheats are always good when you are having a rough time with a specific battle and don’t have the hours to improve your skills naturally. Or when you want to mess with the game and have some pure chaotic fun, not thinking about strategies.

This cheats mode from ArkhamXxX helps you achieve that. Tired of dying? Activate God Mod and say goodbye to the game over screen. Do you want to spam all your special abilities endlessly? Use the Infinite Beta Energy and 99 Skill Points options, and you’re ready to go.

Eve using a Scarlet skin in the first level of Stellar Blade.

5EVE2Scarlet

Another cosmetic mod, but we would argue that this one is far more interesting than the previous one. With its launch on PC, Stellar Blade received a crossover DLC with Nikke, and the character Scarlet was featured in a boss fight.

She has such a cool design with her big hat, and her entire purple and white outfit is one of the sickest in the whole game. It would be a shame not to be able to play the game with this skin. Well, likefengzi has saved us with the EVE2Scarlet mod.

Another well-known series that made a crossover with Stellar Blade was Nier. 2B is one of the most popular characters of the latest years, and she has been invited to many games as a guest. With so many elements in common, it was only a matter of time before she would arrive in Eve’s universe.

The official DLC might have left you wanting more. Fortunately, tenshiken 1 has our back with this funny mod, which allows us to turn Adam’s Drone into either Emil’s Head or Grimoire Weiss.

If you want even more Nier stuff, you can also trythis large sword mod, also created by tenshiken1.

3First-Person Mod

Visual enhancements and look changes are great, but what about a complete change of perspective? This was MJ’s idea when creating this first-person mod, and they brought a completely new way of playing Stellar Blade.

Is it fun? Do the intense boss battles work well in this perspective? Will I suffer from motion sickness after a few minutes? We leave those answers to you. Just keep in mind that you can’t aim freely with your gun while using this mod, and there seems to be some issues when you lock on your enemies.

Samus Gunship floating on a street in Stellar Blade.

2Samus’s Gunship

While it has exploration and plenty of collectibles to find, this game isn’t a metroidvania. However, its setting, female protagonist, and other aspects of it could let you connect it to Samus Aran’s journeys. Or maybe not really, and we are just looking for an excuse to customize your ship with the iconic Gunship.

You don’t manually control the ship at any point in the game, but you’ll be traveling from location to location frequently. This is a great skin to have.

Thomas the Tank Engine looking down to you in Stellar Blade.

1Thomas The Tank Engine As Stalker

A classic at this point, if you’re playing an action or horror game, you know that someone will eventually mod Thomas the Tank Engine. One more time, tenshiken1 surprises us with a cool character change: on this occasion, the boss Stalker had a bit of a transformation.

If you have already mastered this fight and are looking for a bit of change, you may’t go wrong with this iconic train.
