After a long wait,Zenless Zone Zerofinally continued the main story with the second season’s launch in the Version 2.0 update. With this continuation, you get to meet a bunch of members from the Yunkui Summit, with three of them being playable. Ju Fufu is one of these members, and you chat with her quite a bit in the main story.
Ju Fufu is an S-rank Stun character with Fire as her main attribute. While she can be used in an obvious team with other Yunkui Summit characters, she’s also a good all-rounder unit to have on your account. However, you will need some specific W-Engine and Drive Discs to get the most value from her.
Best Ju Fufu W-Engines
W-Engine is an important part of a character’s kit in Zenless Zone Zero.For Ju Fufu, Roaring Fur-nace is undoubtedly the best engine choicesince it’s her signature, which gives her a ton of utility. However, you have a few other options as well:

Ju Fufu requires a ton of ATK for one of her passives (discussed below) and the secondary stat from this W-Engine helps her with that. Outside of that, you can alsoget a ton of extra daze from your EX Special, Chain, and Ultimate.
Furthermore, when you trigger her Chain Attack or Ultimate, youcan increase the team’s damage by up to 20 percent.
Hellfire Gears
Apart from having a bunch of Impact on its secondary stat, this engine canalso give you extra Energy Regen off-fieldand further increase your Impact after triggering EX Special Attack.
Precious Fossilized Core
A-Rank
This is the best A-rank W-Engine to have on Ju Fufu as it can give you abunch of Impact as long as you have over 75 percent HP. Since she mostly stays off-field, this is quite easy to achieve.
Six Shooter
This can be another great engine for off-field Stun characters, butgetting the maximum benefit from it can take up to 18 seconds, which is a long time.
Steam Oven
This engine increases Ju Fufu’s Energy Regen andfurther increases her Impact based on her current Energy. This Impact increase lasts for a few seconds after consuming the Energy, making it good for her combos.
Best Ju Fufu Drive Discs
The King of the Summit Drive Discs were released alongside the Version 2.0 update, andthese serve as the best four-piece set for Ju Fufu. However, here are all your options:
Synergy With Ju Fufu
King of the Summit (4Pc)
Other than the six percent Daze, this set can also let Ju Fufu give her team up to30 percent Crit DMG for 15 seconds when she uses her EX Special or Chain Attack. This bonus stacks with Ju Fufu’s, making it the best set for her.
Swing Jazz (2/4Pc)
Swing Jazz can be a decent two-piece on Ju Fufu asthe extra Energy Regen will help you trigger her EX Special Attacksmore often. However, if you don’t have a four-piece on King of the Summit, you can use this as a placeholder.
Woodpecker Electro (2Pc)
Finally, to complement the 50 percent Crit Rate requirement of her main set, you canuse two pieces of Woodpecker Electro as it gives her an extra eight percent Crit Rate.
Sub-Stats
ATK Percent > Crit Rate/DMG > PEN
The main stat for her slot six disc depends on themain stat of your W-Engine and the overall ATK Percentyou have.
You need a total of 3,400 ATK on Ju Fufu, and if you can achieve that without having it as the main stat, then you can choose Impact.
Best Ju Fufu Bangboo
For a support unit like Ju Fufu who mostly stays off-field, thebangboo is usually decidedbased on the other team members. However,Belion will largely be her best choice when used in her best teamwith other Yunkui Summit members. Outside of that, you can also try Sumoboo since it’ll help her build Daze a bit quicker.
On the other hand, if you’re using her in other teams like the Evelyn team, you’ll likely use an Attack-based Bangboo or someone more suitable for that team.
General Ju Fufu Team
Evelyn/Attack character/Rupture character, Ju Fufu, Astra Yao/Support character
As you might already expect with Ju Fufu being an integral part of the Yunkui Summit,she works the best in a team with Yixuan and Pan Yinhu. Before her release,Yixuan only worked with Astra Yao, but the buff provided by her wasn’t particularly useful for Yixuan. With Ju Fufu, she can finally reach her full potential and become one of the best choices of DPS in the game.
The order of characters in your team is important for thissince Pan Yinhu triggers a backward Quick Assist, meaning you’d want Yixuan to be right before him. This leaves Ju Fufu theonly slot after Pan Yinhuor before Yixuan. This will let you quick assist directly to Yixuan, which is important for her abilities.
Ju Fufu largely stays off-field in her teams and only needs to comeon the field for some quick EX Special Attacks and Ultimate.
Ju Fufu’s Chain Attack that you trigger when the enemy is stunned isn’t highly important,and you may skip it during a rotation to save some time. For her teams, you’d ideally trigger the enemy stun with Ju Fufu, then first switch to the DPS before the Support. Finally, cancel the Chain Attack on the support and Quick Assist back to the DPS.
Outside of Yixuan, Ju Fufu also works particularly well with Evelyn sinceshe can give her Crit DMG and Chain Attack/Ultimate DMG, which are both highly useful for Astra’s bodyguard.
Ju Fufu Skill Overview And Priority
When you first read Ju Fufu’s kit, it might seem quite overwhelming because of the extra Chain Attack and other details. However,she’s quite simple in battle and here’s everything you need to knowabout her:
As you can see from above, Ju Fufu can mostly stay off-field while applying constant Daze to the enemies. Youonly need to switch her on-field for the EX Special Attack and Ultimate. However, you can trigger her spin attack manually if you have some downtime in your rotation.
Much like every other character, the first upgrade priority for Ju Fufu is her core passive.It’s highly recommended to get it to F as soon as possible. After that, you can upgrade her Ultimate, EX Special Attack, and Dodge in that order. The Basic Attack and Assist can be skipped.
