If you’ve been playingHonkai: Star Railfor a little while, you likely already know how easy it is to replace a DPS character by just changing the weakness of the enemies. However, it’s nearly impossible to replace the sustainers of the game since they’re highly flexible and can be used in the fourth slot of any team.
While Hyacine might be a Remembrance character, her main role in the team is the same as any other sustainer since she can constantly heal her allies while removing their debuffs. Thankfully, she’s also one of the easier characters to build.
Best Hyacine Light Cones
As soon as you get Hyacine fromher limited banner in Honkai: Star Rail, the first thing you have to do is put a suitable light cone on her. You can do this by going to the light cone menu in her character screen, andit’s important to use a Remembrance cone on hersince she won’t get the passive boost from any other path’s cone.
As you’d expect from a limited five-star character,Hyacine’s best light cone is the Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky, which is her signature. Thankfully, if you don’t have this one, there are also some F2P-friendly choices:

Apart from giving her a massive SPD boost, which allows her to pass the 200 SPD threshold, this light cone also lets Hyacineconsume a bit of ally HP to increase the damage dealt from Ica’s skill.
Furthermore, after Ica attacks the enemies, theytake 18 percent increased damage from all allies.
Memory’s Curtain Never Falls
While this light cone gives you significantly less value than her signature, the general buffs you get remain the same. While using this,Hyacine can get up to 12 percent extra SPD.
After using her Skill, her allies candeal 16 percent more DMG to enemies.
Victory In a Blink
This light cone also lets Hyacine’s allies enjoy a 16 percent DMG boost whilegiving her a whopping 24 percent Crit DMG as well. Since Ica has 100 percent Crit Rate, this boost stacks with her nicely.
Best Hyacine Relics And Planar Ornaments
The main grind for each character that makes you log in to Honkai: Star Rail every day while building them is farming for their relics and planar ornaments. you may do this by spending your Traillbaze Power in Caverns of Corrosion or Ornament Extraction, respectively. The main and sub-stats you get on each relic set are randomized.
For Hyacine, the best relics and planar ornaments to farm are theWarrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder and Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding, respectively. While these should be your endgame relics on her, you have a few other choices if you’re still in the early game:

Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder
This relic set was released alongside Hyacine’s first limited banner, and it suits her perfectly. Upon healing allies with this on, she can get up to12 percent extra SPD while giving them 15 percent Crit DMG.
The Crit DMG boostcan be enjoyed by Hyacine as well, increasing Ica’s damage.

Messenger Traversing Hackerspace
This set doesn’t give you any Crit DMG, but instead, gives Hyacineup to 18 percent SPD while giving her allies 12 percent SPD as well.
While this set doesn’t benefit Hyacine’s allies as much, it letsher get higher SPD to get increased Outgoing Healing.

Two pieces of both the above
Finally, if you don’t have either of the above sets with good stats, you can usetwo pieces on any two relic sets with SPD as the two-piece bonus.
Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding
This set further increases Hyacine’s SPD by six percent while giving her awhopping 20 percent Outgoing Healing as long as your SPD is over 180, which is already necessary for her.
Broken Keel
Hyacine already gets 50 percent Effect RES from her Stormy Caress bonus ability, which easily lets heruse this ornament set to provide extra Crit DMG to her allies.
Bone Collection’s Serene Demesne
Finally, if you have Hyacine’s signature weapon and want to boost her damage even further,you can use this set to give her extra HP and Crit DMG.
Sub-Stats
SPD > HP Percent > Crit DMG
You need over 200 SPD on Hyacine as the bare minimum, and it’simportant to stack as much Crit DMG and HP on heras possible as well.
Hyacine General Team
Hyacine, DPS, Sub-DPS/Support, Support
Hyacine has the ability to boost the max HP of her allies, making her thebest sustain to use alongside HP-based characters like Castorice and Mydei. However, she particularly goes well with Castorice since Ica can provide constant healing to the team, which also increases Castorice’s Ultimate energy gain.
Furthermore, if you have Hyacine’s light cone, theextra HP consumption from all allies also feeds into Castorice’s ultimate. The combination of these two characters allows you to fully use Castorice’s dragon on the first turn itself since you can easily get it back in the same cycle if you play your cards right.
Since you’ll be using your Ultimate a lot more with this team, it also helpsTribbie unleash more follow-up attacks.
Apart from the hypercarry team for Castorice, you’re able to alsouse Hyacine in a dual-DPS combination with both Castorice and Mydei. You can use either Remembrance Trailblazer or Tribbie as the support for this, with the former putting their True DMG buff on Castorice. Mydei can easily deal over 200,000 damage even without any buffs.
Finally, you may use Hyacine in essentially any team as a sustainer since she can still heal the party continuouslyeven if the increased max HP isn’t providing a benefit to the team. Of course, if you have other staple sustainers for those teams like Lingsha for break teams, they’ll be better to use.
Apocalyptic Shadow Rating
S+ Tier
As a flexible universal sustainer, it might not be surprising to see the high rating on Hyacine since, as mentioned above, you can use her in any team and herAoE damage from Ica allows her to be phenomenal in every endgame mode. Being a Remembrance character, Hyacine has some extra abilities on her memosprite that you have to upgrade and understand.
However, even with these extra abilities, her kit is fairly simple, and here’s what she does:
As you may see from above, it’s highly important to maximize Hyacine’sSPD and Energy Regeneration Rate to get the most value from her kit.
Hyacine Trace Priority
While upgrading Hyacine’s traces, it’s important to first focus on either her Skill or Ultimate, with both of these being a priority over other abilities. After you’ve upgraded these, you can go for Ica’s Memosprite Skill followed by Hyacine’s talent and lastly, Ica’s talent. You can leave Hyacine’s normal attack as you won’t be using this in battle.
