This also takes into consideration the acquisition; we won’t be including that many crops that are difficult to get.
7Blueberries
As we go through crops on this list, you’ll come to see that single-harvest crops aren’t entirely worth it compared to others. Crops that continuously don’t require you to keep spending money, and the blueberry bush is a great reharvestable.
If you are trying to make money early in the game, we highly suggest buying some blueberry seeds. Each bush yields several blueberries, and they are pretty easy to harvest, allowing you to quickly turn a profit.
6Bamboo
While reharvestables are great, bamboo stands above the rest of the single-harvest crops. Bamboo seeds sell for $4,000 and grow quite tall. We’ve included this crop on our list because it’s a bit multipurpose.
Firstly, you’re able to turn a small profit while selling them. Aside from that though, bamboo makes for a great ladder. For example, say you have a coconut tree that is a bit hard to reach. With a bamboo placed nearby, you can grab the coconuts and avoid missing out on any Sheckles. When done, harvest the bamboo and sell it too!
Bamboo is best as an early-game crop.
5Peppers
If you’ve just started Grow A Garden, you’ve probably never even seen peppers in the shop. Peppers are at the very bottom of the shop, right above cacao seeds. So, what’s the deal with them? Peppers cost a whopping one million Sheckles.
This is a lot, but an actual pepper sells for quite a lot as well. Though the base price is around $7,000,Mutations can really catapult the pepper into greatness. Of course, you’ll need to have a million Sheckles lying around, and buy it during the very rare chance that it’s in stock.
Pepper crops grow more than one at a time, which increases your profits.
4Mint
Okay, we know that mint is a rare plant that islimited to the Night Seed Pack, but if you have the chance to get this pack, we highly recommend it. Mint has around a 22 percent chance to be obtained in this pack, and though it seems simple, it’s quite an early-game moneymaker.
We sold a big mint crop for an impressive $155,000, but even the normal version sells for a lot. This isn’t practical for everyone, but if mint is available for you, it’s definitely worth it!
3Grapes
Next, we have grapes. This is another Divine-tier crop, with a base price of $850,000. Thankfully, it’s reharvestable, so you can reap the benefits of this seed purchase pretty much indefinitely.
As with peppers, grape crops don’t just produce one. Instead, you’ll find multiple bushels of grapes that you’re able to gather and sell. The price is slightly less than peppers as well, so these may be a bit more practical. Additionally, they grow pretty big, making for a fun-looking farm.
2Tomatoes
If you are early into the game, then tomatoes can be your best friend. Tomato seeds go for $800 and have a high chance of being in the shop. They also don’t take up too much space and can be clustered together, making them easy to harvest.
The base price for one tomato is around $30, but we sold a massive tomato for around $500, which is over half of the seed price. As expected, tomatoes are also re-harvestable, so you don’t need to keep buying more seeds.
Once you start making a lot of money, tomatoes become less lucrative. At the start though, these can really propel you to become rich.
1Cacao
Last but not least, we have cacao. If you didn’t know, this is basically chocolate (as chocolate comes from cacao, which grow on trees). This crop is relatively new, and is the most expensive seed that you’re able to buy. Coming in at $2,500,000, there is less than a one percent chance that you’ll find this in the shop.
If you do have enough Sheckles, then cacao is incredibly profitable. The base price for a cacao bean is around $10,000, but if you happen to get just one golden version, the price will multiply times 20. Needless to say, this is a lot.
