Much like every other gacha game, the characters inWuthering Waveshave a specific attribute and weapon, which mainly decides how they fit into the game. However, the developers are also focusing on various negative status-based characters that offer a different play style by dealing regular damage to the enemies.
Ciaccona is one such character as her kit revolves around applying both Aero Erosion and Spectro Frazzle on the enemies. While she’s easy to understand, Ciaccona is also one of the harder characters to build because of her stat requirement.
Best Ciaccona Weapons
Ever since the release of Wuthering Waves, Pistols have been the weapon type that has barely gotten any new characters, which reduces the amount of overall choices you have. However,for building Ciaccona, the best weapon is undoubtedly her signature, Woodland Aria. Thankfully, there are a few F2P-friendly options as well, though they won’t compare to the five-star options:
Woodland Aria
Five-Star
This is Ciaccona’s signature weapon, and it does a lot for her apart from the Crit Rate from the secondary stat. It gives her extra ATK while alsoproviding some Aero DMG Bonus when you apply an Aero Erosion stackon the enemy.
Finally, this weapon also reduces the enemy’s Aero RES for 20 secondswhen you hit an enemy with Aero Erosion.
Static Mist
If you don’t have Ciaccona’s signature, this standard weapon also goes well with her because of theCrit Rate on the secondary stat and the Energy Regen from the passive.
She can also enhance her supportive abilities byproviding the next resonator some ATK when you use Outro Skillto switch to them.
Romance in Farewell
Four-Star
you’re able to easily craft this weapon after buying its blueprint from the bank in Rinascita, and itgives her a ton of ATK when you hit enemies with Aero Erosion.
Cadenza
If you’re having trouble getting enough Concerto or Resonance Energy on Ciaccona for her rotations,you can use this weapon to increase both her Energy Regenand giving her some extra Concert Energy.
Relativistic Jet
Finally, if you’ve managed to pull this weapon, it can be a decent one for her since it gives her some Resonance Energy and ATK for 16 secondsafter casting her Skill.
Ciaccona Echo Guide
The echo system of Wuthering Waves is its bread-and-butter since you get most of your stats from herealong with a special skill that your echo in the main slot can use. For Ciaccona’s build,the best echo set is Gusts of Welkin with Reminiscence: Fleurdelys as the main echo. However, Moonlit Clouds serves as a decent alternative for early game players.

Gusts of Welkin
Apart from giving you some Aero DMG Bonus, this set lets you increase the Aero DMG for theentire party by 15 percent when you apply Aero Erosion on the enemy, with an additional 15 percent for Ciaccona.
Moonlit Clouds
Moonlit Clouds can serve as decent alternative if you don’t have Ciaccona’s signature since it lets you build her as a support with someextra Energy Regen and additional ATK for the resonator you switch towith your Outro.
Reminiscence: Fleurdelys
While you can’t fully utilize the buffs from this echo, it stillserves as the best one for Ciaccona’s main slotsince it gives her an additional 10 percent Aero DMG bonus.
Impermanence Heron
On the Moonlit Clouds set, you can Impermanence Heron toincrease the ATK boost that the resonator you switch to gets. Keep in mind that you have to hit the enemy with this echo for the effect to occur.

You can go for the normal four-three-three-one-one setup for echoes while building Ciaccona and use Crit Rate as the main stat,especially if you don’t have one of the two five-star weapons mentioned above on her. Moreover, if you have a good amount of Energy Regen rolls on your sub-stats, you can go for double Aero DMG Bonus pieces on three cost echoes.
Generally, you’ll be looking forCrit Rate/DMG, Energy Regen, Heavy Attack DMG, Resonance Liberation DMG, and ATK Percentas sub stats on her pieces. You’d want to have around 150 percent Energy Regen with a decent Crit Ratio to make her valuable since she doesn’t heal, so she needs to deal as much damage as possible.
Ciaccona Spectro Team
Zani, Ciaccona, Shorekeeper/Phoebe
Since Ciaccona is asub-DPS who can apply team-wide buffswith her Outro Skill, her general placement on the team can beflexible depending on whether you want a healer or not:
Cartethyia is also an Aero character, and while we don’t know her kit yet,she’ll likely also work well with Ciaccona.
As a general rotation for Ciaccona’s team, you’dwant to start with her for the most part since her Liberation can last for a long timeand, as mentioned above, she can provide party-wide buffs. However, if you’re using her alongside Shorekeeper, you may start with the latter as the Intro Skill you gain for it will make your rotations faster.
If you’re using Ciaccona in a Spectro Frazzle team, don’t forget to switch her Liberation to yellowas she won’t provide Spectro Frazzle stacks otherwise.
Ciaccona Overview And Trace Priority
Whenever a new character gets released in Wuthering Waves, you caneasily use them in both Tower of Adversity and Whimpering Wastessince the buffs are usually tailor-made for them. However, Ciaccona is quite a future-proof character even outside of that since she’ll be good with any upcoming Aero unit, especially if they have bits of Aero Erosion in their kit.

The main aspect of Ciaccona’s kit is herability to summon clones of herself via different means. These clones can execute various abilities on her behalf, and they also get together for a performance during her Liberation:
Ciaccona Attack Combination
As mentioned above, Ciaccona will generally be the first character to start the battle in your team. In that case, yourattack combination for the first rotation will slightly differ from the subsequent ones. Generally, you want to start Ciaccona’s turn with the Intro Skill, which gives her one Musical Essence stack while putting her in Basic Attack three directly.
After that, usetwo basic attacks and then your Skill to summon the first clone. You can then use three basic attacks to summon the second clone, which will alsogive you all three Musical Essences, allowing you to do a special Heavy Attack. Finally, you can use your Resonance Liberation and switch to the next character.
For the first rotation, you’ll have to do two full basic attack combos to make up for the lack of Intro Skilland then continue with your Resonance Skill.

While upgrading Ciaccona, much like every other character, you have to focus on herForte Circuit first since the special Heavy Attack gives her a ton of damage. After that, you can upgrade her abilities in the following order: Resonance Liberation > Intro Skill > Resonance Skill > Basic Attack.
