Phrolova has been one of the most anticipated characters ever since the beginning ofWuthering Wavesas she was featured as one of the main villains in the initial trailers. After witnessing her playing an instrument and spawning an army of Tacet Discords in Jinzhou, you encounter her once again during the Rinascita arc.
Thankfully, this time she arrives in the game as a playable character during the Version 2.5 update. Phrolova is a five-star Havoc character using a Rectifier as her weapon. While she’s a main DPS in the game, her play style and general rotations are quite unique.
Phrolova Best Weapons
There are quite a few limited Rectifier characters in Wuthering Waves already, just like Phrolova, and most of these characters require the same stat boosts. This makes your choice of weapon on her quite flexible.The best weapon for Phrolova is still the Lethean Elegy, which is her signature that you can pull only when she’s featured on the banners.
Generally, you’relooking for Resonance Skill and Echo Skill DMG bonuseson her apart from the general stats like Crit Rate and Crit DMG, and here are all your weapon choices that will provide that:
Lethean Elegy
Five-Star
This weapon gives you abunch of Crit Rate and 12 percent ATKafter being fully leveled up and equipped on Phrolova. you may get further stat boosts when you use an Echo Skill, which is quite common if you use Phrolova correctly.
These stat boosts include a32 percent Resonance Skill DMG, 32 percent Echo Skill DMG, and eight percent DEFignore on the target.
Stringmaster
Yinlin’s signature weapon is the second-bestrectifier for Phrolova as it can alsogive you Crit Rate and Attribute DMG Bonusjust by being equipped. Moreover, after using your Resonance Skill, it gives you a 12 percent ATK boost.
This stacks up to two times, with anadditional 12 percent when Phrolova isn’t on the field.
Whispers of Sirens
Apart from some Crit DMG and ATK, this weapon can give you Basic Attack DMG bonus whileignoring 12 percent of the enemy’s RES after using two Echo Skills. However, it requires Phrolova to stay on the field.
However, the Crit DMG and ATK boosts areenough to use this as her main weaponeven on her best play style if you don’t have the two above.
Augment
Four-Star
you may get this rectifier from the battle pass, and it gives her a bunch of Crit Rate whileincreasing her ATK after using Resonance Liberation.
Fusion Accretion
Finally, if you don’t have any of the above weapons,you’re able to use this to get some extra ATK on Phrolova. However, the energy regeneration from it is useless for her.

When a new character gets released in Wuthering Waves, they usually have an echo set of five pieces that suits them the most. This set was released alongside Phorlova, and it serves as the best three-piece set for her. Since she always has zero energy, this set gives her apermanent 20 percent Crit Rate and 35 percent Echo Skill DMGbonus.
Havoc Eclipse (2Pc)
Once you have two pieces of either of these sets, you can get aten percent Havoc DMG Bonus on Phrolova, which is great. You can also use a full five-piece Havoc Eclipse set on her if you don’t have Dream of the Lost unlocked yet.

With Phrolova, you’ll go for thetypical four - three - three - one - one echo combination. Since she doesn’t have a lot of sub-stat requirements, you’d want all four of them on each of her echoes to get the best value.
Phrolova Main DPS Team
Phrolova, Shorekeeper, Cantarella
WhenCantarella was first released in Wuthering Waves, she didn’t have a lot of use since there wasn’t any character that could benefit from her Outro skill properly. This has changed with Phrolova’s release, andCantarella is now a staple character for her team,not only for the extra Havoc and Resonance Skill DMG, but also the multitude of Echo Skills that she can use.
Phrolova isn’t generally built as an on-field DPS sinceshe can only get the best attacks and buffs while working off-field. Due to this, the requirement for either constant DPS with Roccia and Cantarella or a main DPS like Danjin arises. However, the former team works the best with Phrolova since you’re able to get the perfect rotation with it.
In Phrolova’s F2P team, you’d generally use Taoqi’s Outro into Phrolova andPhrolova’s Outro into Danjin.

Phrolova’s Kit, Explained
Phrolova Attack Combination
As you can see from above, Phrolova’s kit is highly complicated. Thankfully, this doesn’t translate to her normal attack combinationsince you can follow a specific set of attacks each time. Phrolova will generally be the first character starting your team’s rotation, which means that you’ll first have to work on getting six Volatile Note stacks.
This can be done by using Basic Attacks three times into an enhanced Basic Attack or Skill. It’srecommended to alternate between the two types of Volatile Notes here. With six stacks, you can perform her Heavy Attack into the Liberation and then switch off-field.
When you switch back to Phrolova the second time, you’ll already have a bunch ofCadenza stacks from her Intro and Echo Skills, making your rotations more efficient.
Phrolova Forte Priority
you’re able to upgrade Phrolova’s forte in this order:Resonance Liberation - Intro Skill - Forte Circuit - Resonance Skill - Basic Attack. You can skip the last two abilities if you don’t have a lot of resources since they don’t do a ton of damage.
