From the beginning ofZenless Zone Zero, Support has been one of the most broken specialties since agents from it can easily carry the entire team with the buffs they provide. While most Support characters so far have been quite general, Yuzuha is the first five-star Support character who works in a specific niche.
Her kit is based around supporting other Anomaly characters, and she’s now the best pick for the Support character slot in these teams. Not only does she help these characters trigger more Disorders, but also deal a lot more damage when built correctly.
Best Yuzuha W-Engine
Being a Support character, Yuzuha can only get the full benefit if you use Support-type W-Engines with hersince you won’t be able to trigger the main passive otherwise. Thankfully, there are quite a few decent choices for her, even if you’re an F2P player. Of course, thebest W-Engine for Yuzuha will remain her signature called Metanukimorphosis.

Yuzuha’s signature weapon starts off by giving her a bunch of Energy Regen as the secondary stat,allowing you to use her EX Special Attack more often. Furthermore, it gives her extra Anomaly Mastery after her Skill or Ultimate.
This extra Mastery helps herreach the required threshold of 200 with ease. After dealing Aftershock damage, she increases the entire team’s Anomaly Proficiency,increasing their Disorder and Anomaly DMG.
Elegant Vanity
While you lose a bit of value with this W-Engine, it’s still Yuzuha’s second-best option. Itgives her some ATK as a secondary stat with extra Energywhenever a character enters the field with any Assist or Chain Attack.
On top of that, after using her EX Special Attack,all squad members can deal extra DMG, stacking up to two times. However, you likely won’t have two stacks of this effect often on her.

Moving on to the F2P-friendly choices,Lucy’s signature weapon serves the best for Yuzuha. It gives her some Energy Regen and buffs the entire team’s ATK whenever any squad member attacks the enemy, making it easy to use.

If you’re using Yuzuha with a Crit-basedAnomaly character like Miyabiand the enemy has Physical Weakness, you may use this to give12 percent or more Crit Rate to Miyabi,depending on your overclock level.

Finally, if you’re new to Zenless Zone Zero and don’t have any of the above choices just yet, you may use this three-star as a placeholderfor its Energy Regen and extra Anomaly Proficiency.
Best Yuzuha Drive Discs
Yuzuha’s Drive Disc situation is a little unique since she barely has any four-piece sets that suit her super well. If you’re using her with otherPhysical Anomaly characters like Jane, Piper, or Alice once she releases,you can use the four-piece Freedom Blues on her. However, in most other situations,you’re better off using three two-piece sets.
Synergy With Yuzuha

With a four-piece set, this disc gives her some Anomaly Proficiency andallows her to increase the target’s Anomaly Buildup for her Attribute. This will massively benefit other Physical Anomaly characters if used on Yuzuha.
However, you have to trigger this effectevery eight seconds with your EX Special Attack, which can be a bit rough on her.
Swing Jazz (2pc)
You get a bit of Energy Regen with the two pieces of this set, which can not only help with the four-piece Freedom Blues but also be agreat stat on an off-field Support unit like Yuzuhain general.
Astral Voice (2pc)
Yuzuha needs a total of 3,000 ATK to get the full benefit from her Core Passive, and theextra ten percent from this set can contributeto that.
Phaethon’s Melody (2pc)
Similarly, the Anomaly Mastery you get from this set can becrucial to reach the Mastery thresholdwith Yuzuha without her W-Engine.

ATK Percent > Anomaly Proficiency
Yuzuha’s main priority is to get therequired main stats with a few ATK Percent rollsand Anomaly Proficiency if possible.
As you can see, Yuzuha can’t use an Energy Regen disc six since she needs the Anomaly Mastery, whichmakes it crucial to have one of the Energy Regen W-Engines.
Best Yuzuha Bangboo
With time, it has become more clear that the Bangboo you use in a specific team entirely depends on other team members. For example, Miss Esme is the signature Bangboo released with Yuzuha, but sheneeds another member from the Spook Shack on the team, and you only have Alice as the choice for that slot, who’s not released yet.
However, you’re able to use Magnetiboo as a decent replacement sinceyou’ll always have an Anomaly character in the team with her, or any other Support-type Bangboo.
F2P Yuzuha Team

If you’ve been playing ZZZ from the beginning, you might already be aware that Anomaly wasn’t the best play style at the start. It only became better when further limited Anomaly units got released,making it difficult to have a good F2P-friendly team for Yuzuha. The best F2P team you have for her involves Piper and Grace.
However, both of these characters require quite a bit of field time. It’smuch better if you’re able to have better off-field Anomaly unitswith Piper like Vivian or Burnice. Outside of that, the Yuzuha team generallyfollows this template: on-field Anomaly, off-field Anomaly, Yuzuha. Here are your choices for each category:
From what we know about Alice so far, she’s also turning outto be an on-field Anomaly character.
Once you’ve decided upon the best team you’d want to use for Yuzuha, you also have to pay attention to the order. For example, you’ll get the most value while using her with Miyabi and Vivian, but in this team,you have to place Yuzuha before Vivian since the latter benefits more from Quick Assists, which give her extra stacks.
At the end of the day, Yuzuha will help youbeat any endgame content with two Anomaly charactersas long as they don’t share the same Attribute since you still need Disorder.
Yuzuha Skill Overview And Priority
The final step to building a godly Yuzuha is understanding what her abilities do. Thankfully, even though she’s a niche Support character,her kit is very simple to understand. Here’s what you need to know:
Much like other Support characters, you only need to bringYuzuha on the field to activate her EX Special Attacks and Ultimates. The Sugar Points you get from her last long enough thatyou don’t need to use her basic attack or assist follow-up.
Yuzuha Skill Upgrade Priority
Coming to Yuzuha’s upgrade priority, yourCore Passive takes the first spot since it gives you most of the buffsand extra Anomaly Mastery. After that, you’re able to work on her Basic Attack, Ultimate, and EX Special Attack in that order. Dodge counter and Assist are largely skippable, but you can give a few levels to the former.
