However, each run will be different not only based on your luck, but also on the preferred types of your characters. Winning Ticket is a one-star character who mostly prefers longer distance races.
If you do a few pulls on the Derby banner, you may easily get her to two stars, which gives her increased base stats and other boosts. When built properly, she can truly be the Winning Ticket of respective races on your account.

Once you pick Winning Ticket as the character for your next career run, you first have to look at her desired distance and styles to decide your build.She has an A rating in Medium and Late Surger, with a B in Long and Pace Chaser. Your target build will likely involve one of these distances and styles.
If you want to have a Long or Pace Chaser build on her,it’s recommended to get their rating to an A with your Legacy. You’ll have seven Medium and two Long races in her career before the URA Championship, but one of the Long races requires you to place first at the very end, which can be quite difficult since it’s Arima Kinen.
Long races not only need a bunch of stats for your respective style, butalso a lot of Stamina so you don’t fall behind.
The best build for Winning Ticket isundoubtedly the Late Surger style on a Long distance, which is further reinforced with her unique skill. Her V Is For Victory ability essentially increases your speed on the final straight, which will help your Late Surger style massively since that’s when it makes you overtake other runners.
The final straight is also longer as you increase the distance of the race, whichmakes this skill suit both Medium and Long races, with slightly higher value on the latter.

As you can probably see from the recommended stats above, there’s no hiding the fact that Winning Ticket is arguablyone of the hardest characters to build in Umamusume: Pretty Derby. Speed is the best stat you can have in the game, which automatically makes itsideal position above 800, with the best place being over 900 for this build.
However, apart from that, you also need a bunch of Stamina to keep running during the Long races in her career anda ton of Power/Guts to help you push ahead in the final phase. Finally, if you want to use this character in PvP, you’ll need decently high Wit or you’ll never trigger your skills when up against other players.
Your characters can easily trigger skills in career since the races are easy, butthings are a lot different in other modes.
Winning Ticket’s base stats have the highest Power and the lowest Stamina,but the difference between them isn’t big, further suggesting a balanced build as her best. Hergrowth rate is in Power and Stamina, with a bit higher percentage on the former, helping you with this balanced build without having to use too many Support Cards.
Winning Ticket Legacy Recommendations
Before you start your career with Winning Ticket, you may choose up to two Legacies that will give you a bunch of stats divided across three phases in the race. You can see the stats you’ll get as soon as the race starts when selecting these Legacies, andthe other two instances trigger in April each year, and the stats you get are randomized.
While Speed still remains a priority for Winning Ticket here, it’s recommended to have more of abalanced distribution between Speed, Stamina, and Powerwith a bit of Guts and Wit if possible. While this might not make your starting stats very good, it’ll help them achieve the recommended points in the long run.
Winning Ticket Best Skills
The stat requirement for Winning Ticket is very high, and it’s nearly impossible to reach it in most instances. Thankfully, that’s where the skills come in, as they can help you fill in the gaps with your stats in every way possible. For example,if your Stamina is low, you can get a bunch of Stamina regeneration skillsand still be okay.

Passing Pro
Since you’ll be passing a lot of runners in the race, thisLong-specific skill can help you with your Staminawhile doing so.
Cooldown
This ability can stack well with the Straightaway Speed skills since itlets you regenerate your Stamina on a straight.
Relax
Finally,late-race is where your Winning Ticketwill shine, and this skill can make it better by regenerating some of your Stamina at that time.
Position Pilfer
This skill canincrease your speed in the middleof the race, making you ready for the final spurt.
Fighter
This is one of Winning Ticket’s personal skills, andit increases your passing ability, which is quite significant for this character.

While this card might not have the best effects at the start, it does give you some great skills for Winning Ticketif you can dodge the Pace Chaser ones.
