You asked,Capcomlistened. Select members of theStreet Fighter 6roster are getting new outfits, and since it’s summer, they’re going to be swimsuits. The new outfits were shown off during Thursday’s Capcom showcase, and reactions to the reveal heavily imply these skins will quickly pay for themselves, and then some.
Seven characters will be getting swimsuit looks on July 03, 2025 -Chun-Li, Cammy, AKI, Jamie, Kimberly, Luke, and Manon. Sagat’s arrival was also revealed, but you lot seem more interested in the swimsuits. Capcom confirmed that everyone in Street Fighter 6 will eventually have a swimsuit to wear, which means that one fan on Reddit who wants to see Dhalsim in a Speedo might eventually have their wish granted. Yeah, I see you.
Swimsuits Are Coming To Street Fighter 6
Everybody, Stay Calm! Oh, Too Late.
I see all of you. Someone hoping Dhalsim eventually dons some beachwear and joins his Street Fighter colleagues on the beach is far from the only positive reaction to the swimsuit reveal.Reddit user Zeko_LVimmediately raced tothe Street Fighter subredditto create a thread where people can share their thoughts and feelings on the new looks.
A Reddit threadthat I can point you to via a link, but I can’t post in this article because of the image used by OP right at the start. You’ll see what I mean.
There’s a lot of what you’d expect sprinkled throughout the replies to the thread, not to mention similar reactions on Twitter. So much so that a lot of the time, when someone has a serious point to make about the skins, they feel the need to clarify that first. An indication that those who want to joke about and thirst over the skins should keep on scrolling, this one’s not for them.
Chun-Li and Cammy’s swimsuits have been getting the bulk of the attention, but Kimberly’s look is pretty popular too. Largely due to the attention to detail, as her skin also includes a Walkman, strengthening Kimberly’s connection to her ’80s aesthetic, even when she’s not wearing much.
Unfortunately, donning a swimsuit in Street Fighter 6 this summer almost certainly isn’t going to be free. Capcom hasn’t revealed how much each swimsuit will cost, but if it’s priced similarly to the last wave of outfits, they’ll cost 300 Fighter Coins each. That’s roughly $6, and based on your reactions, I’d hazard to guess Capcom will sell so many of these skins that the profits will pay for a large chunk of Street Fighter 7’s development costs.
