WithStellar Blade’s launch on PC, two things were guaranteed. Firstly, we were about to see more NSFW mods than we had ever seen in a game before. Well… perhaps apart fromSkyrim, orThe Sims 4. Plenty of people are going to those games for some theirrelief, that’s for sure.
But that wasn’t the only guarantee. No, it was only a matter of time before we got a different mod entirely - one that lets us play as CJ fromGrand Theft Auto: San Andreas. For whatever reason, with almost any game on PC,modders race to swap the main character’s player model out for CJs, so much so that it’s an inside joke in the community. And lo and behold, Stellar Blade’s PC port is no exception.
That Didn’t Take Long - The CJ Mod For Stellar Blade Is Here
Shout out to the modder Marcos RC for making this possible, and giving the people what they want: a way to play through the entirety of Stellar Blade as CJ. Themod is free to download now, but if you just want to sit back and watch it in all of its glory, you can see it in action over on the mod author’sYouTube channel.
However, if you’re in the market for non-naughty mods, you might find it hard to hunt them down. Even when we only had the demo to play,the Stellar Blade Nexus Mods page was full of ranchy creations. Out of curiosity, I just checked out the page now, and yeah… apparently the outfits can get more revealing.
But everything is nice and wholesome here. This might be one of the few Stellar Blade mods you can install without having to ensure that you have to Alt + Tab as soon as someone walks into the room. Or maybe you should anyway, because it does look very bizarre. It’s safe for work, at least - if Stellar Blade itself is the kind of game you can play at work, I suppose.
Stellar Blade launched on PC on June 11, earlier this week. It has very positive reviews on Steam andlaunched to incredible numbers. It is also available to play on PS5, having been a temporary exclusive.
