Those are just the Steam numbers, but it’s safe to assume that the rise in players will be trending similarly on other platforms, and Steam is actually the place where Battlefront 2 is played the least. Star Wars Battlefront 2 Is Reportedly Still Maintaining Around 90k Players A Day

Earlier today,an insider called BattlefrontUpdates on Twitter- who is generally regarded as trustworthy within the Battlefront community - claimed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 players numbers spiked to over 100,000 players across all platforms on May 4, and that the game has been holding strong ever since.
In fact, BattlefrontUpdates has claimed that Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been managing to set player numbers of around 80-90k every day since May 4, which is hugely impressive considering EA has barely touched the title for over five years. It’s a pretty clear sign that Star Wars fans are itching for a Battlefront experience,which will be great news for those petitioning for a third game from EA.
It remains to be seen whether Star Wars Battlefront 2 can hold the players it has, especially with so little in terms of official support, but it’s definitely a great time to jump back in for a few games. We may see a drop when Andor and Fortnite’s latest season start to wind down, so if you’ve been hankering for some chaotic Battlefront action recently, get in there.
