Start A New Life On The Island
Visited by a time-traveling princess from the island’s past, you learn that the now-deserted island was once a prospering kingdom, but now only a vast abyss remains. What happened to the kingdom and its people? That’s what you now have to find out.
When you start your journey, you can customize your avatar to look however you like. In fact, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has the most customization options in the series so far. Choose your body type, facial structure, hairstyle, and a lot more, so you can get your island adventure started in style.
You can also establish a base on the island by creating your own home. Decorate the interior to your heart’s content to truly make it a home away from home. After a long day of exploring, you can use the materials you’ve found to rebuild parts of the island and decorate the exterior too. With the help of a landscaping robot, you can also build rivers and ponds or create roads, allowing you to tailor the island to your design.
Explore Ginormosia
If you’re looking for some adventure outside of decorating and landscaping, Ginormosia has plenty of it. While exploring Ginormosia, you might be lucky enough to come across plant saplings. Plant one of these, and it will grow into a Treasure Grove - a dungeon for you to tackle and reach the end of. Every time you clear one of these dungeons, the layout changes, so the adventure never truly ends.
Exploring is always better with a friend or two, so Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time allows for two-player local co-op and four-player online co-op. You don’t even need to be playing on the same system as your friend to play online-co-op either, as the game supports crossplay.
You can invite your friends to enjoy your decorated island or team up together to adventure around Ginormosia and battle tough monsters you might not have been able to take down alone.
Live 14 Lives
To help you on your adventure, you’ll have access to 14 different Lives (Jobs).
These Lives will help you with combat, crafting, cooking, and a lot more. Thanks to the new Quick Life Change feature, you can quickly switch to a different Life depending on the situation and what you need to do. Busy fishing, but a monster approaches from behind you? No problem - you can switch from an Angler Life to a Combat Life instantly.
You can specialize or be a jack-of-all-trades; it’s really up to you and how you want to spend your time on Ginormosia.
