Even after 14 years,The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimcontinues to get new content, and this time, travelers are headed back toThe Elder Scrolls Online’s Bleakrock Isle.
It’s no secret that Skyrim fans have continued to keep the game alive far past its maturity date with ambitious mod support. What was initially exclusive to PC then jumped ship to consoles with the Anniversary Edition upgrade. It allowed players to explore new quest lines created by the Skyrim creator community, even returning ones from Oblivion, like obtaining the Cowl of the Gray Fox.
With this creator community support, what was once only the starting zone for The Elder Scrolls Online’s Ebonheart Pact has now made its way out of the MMORPG and into the single-player Skyrim campaign (in an unofficial capacity). Starting this week, Skyrim players can visit the shores of Bleakrock Isle (found byGamingBible) in thenew Creator Community mod, making it the second time players can see the location in an Elder Scrolls video game.
While many Creator Community mods are only available on PC, Bleakrock Isle by the creator WMDBloodHunter can be played on console, since it’s available via the in-game modding page. Outside of this, PC players can also pick it up onNexus Mods, but either method will let you explore the Ebonheart Pact’s starting zone in Skyrim.
How To Get Bleakrock Isle in Skyrim
First things first, to access Bleakrock Isle, you merely have to boot up Skyrim on the platform of your choice and hit Creations on the main menu. After it loads the “marketplace,” you may navigate to the search function and type “Bleakrock Isle” in the search bar. After a small download (after assuring the creator is “WMDBloodHunter”), access to the Island is yours 949 canonical years after its appearance in Elder Scrolls Online.
While the mod is in no way an official release, fans will be able to revisit this re-imagined location nearly an in-game millennium after its initial appearance, and that’s pretty cool. Fans can also check out our opinion onwhich mods are bestto adapt combat below.
