The Second Trial of Aql is located in theEastern Vermillius Gap, the zone beyond the initial Hagga Basin starting area inDune: Awakening. You’ll need to cross the desert and then head east from the easiest crossing point. The Second Trial Of Aqb doesn’t appear on the map until you’re right next to it.

The second trial is much easier than the first and mostly has you testing out the Compactor, a tool you’ll need to harvest Flour Sand. Trials are essential to story progression in Dune: Awakening.

Where Is The Second Trial Of Aql?

The Second Trial Of Aql is found in the Eastern Vermillius Gap, inside a point of interest called the Deep Struggle - this is a water-sealed cave with some bandits inside. This is just to the north of theSoutheast Ironworks.

Watch out when you first enter the cave. The Bandits have laid some mines in the entrances, and they deal alotof damage.

The trial itself is very straightforward and isn’t even really a puzzle compared to the first trial. Justgrab theCompactorand shoot it at the sand, traps, and floating sand to work your way through the trial.

Because the Trial is located to the east of the map, we also recommend checking out Imperial Testing Station 10 which is just the next block of rocks east of the trial location.

This dungeon has some fantastic loot and materials. Worth doing if you’re already on the edge of the Vermillius Gap.
