It’s up to Ota and Date to work together and find a solution tothe Seal of Death puzzleon the outside of the Kotoribako once Iris passes out inside, so you’ll need to combine your interpretation of the clue with the uncurse note here.
Mementos Appraisal System Solution
After you’ve opened the lockers using your colored light code, you’ll be able to begin interacting with theMemento Appraisal Systemon the far side of the box Iris is in, as soon as you’ve inflated the air matress to use as a platform. Here, you’ll need to enter the code shown above to gain access to thedrawers with a circle, square, and triangleon them.
You’ll have been given anewspaper clippingabout a few missing girls, and now, you’re expected topair two items in each of the three drawers, using the clues from the newspaper article to deduce what may have happened to each girl.
With one girl being taken from basketball practice, another going missing with a baby, and the third while cleaning a shrine, you’ll need to pair the likely items with the girls, placing them in the drawers in the order they’re mentioned in the newspaper article. The solution to the memento puzzle in No Sleep for Kaname Date is:
Once these open, you’ll be brought into the numerical portion of this puzzle to solve the remainder of the second chapter in No Sleep for Kaname Date.
Seal Of Death Code Solution
After revealing that this is a Kotoribako that will kill Iris, according to urban legend, you’ll need togo back to the locker puzzle. The clue Iris got inside the box before passing out shows a black square on the locker grid, so go back to the lockers andinteract with the fifth drawer in the second row, second down from the top on the right.
This opens a numerical panel and shows you the code you’ll need to enter to complete the Kotoribako and kill Iris, but we’re trying to save her instead, so you’ll need to rely on yourCurse Breaking Noteto open Ota’s Third Eye and find the solution that helps Iris out of the puzzle.
To do this, you’ll need to acquaint yourself with thesymbol on the scrollabove the number pad, since this is the Seal of Death mentioned in your notes. The shapes involved are asquare, pentagon, and diamond, which you’ll need to keep in mind when examining the Curse Breaking Note.
The solution to the Seal of Death puzzle in No Sleep for Kaname Date can be frustrating to find, as you’re told that the solution to the puzzle isfinding the numbers surrounded by the seal of death. To solve the puzzle, you’ll need toflip over the Uncurse Notein Ota’s inventory.
Here, you’ll see the bathhouse labeled usingnumbers framed inside different shapes, with the numbers one through eight present on the screen. The note instructs Ota toenter these numbers in order closest to the sun, which you’ll see in the bottom-left corner of the map on the back of the card.
However, you’ll notice that the numbers inside the shapes used in the Seal of Death symbol are the ones listed on the scroll as being used to complete the rite and kill Iris. This puzzle involves some rather out of the box thinking, since you’ll need tofind the three numbersframed by the numberswith the symbol’s shapes.
We stumbled on this for a bit, but the code you need to enter to free Iris from the Kotoribako inNo Sleep for Kaname Datein the Seal of Death puzzle isone, five, three. If you look back at the map of the hotspring room again, you’ll see that the numbers from the Seal of Death shapes make a triangle around them to “frame” them.
