As for some of the bigger Pops included in this year’s SDCC haul, Pokemon continues its tradition of releasing Jumbo Pop versions of its legendary creations at conventions.A Jumbo Suicune was released earlier this year, and now it’s Entei’s turn. It hasn’t been shown yet, but that almost certainly means a Jumbo Raikou Pop will be sold during a third convention later this year.
Funko’s SDCC drop also conveniently lines up with the release of Fantastic Four: First Steps, in theaters now.Marvel’s First Family has been turned into a set of four Bitty Pops, and that set is available as part of today’s SDCC Funko releases. There’s also a much larger Herbie Funko Pop, meaning that, at least in Funko terms, F4’s trusty robot sidekick is a lot bigger than theMCU’s newest heroes, rather than the other way around.
Other SDCC Funko Pops available from 9 am EST today include a Buccanneer Shadow the Hedgehog, a metallic Kuromi that’s part of theHello Kittycharacter’s wider birthday celebrations, andthe Naruto Pops revealed exclusively here at TheGamer last month.
