Red Dead Redemption 2is definitely going to drop some news any day now. Whether it’s a Switch 2 port or something else, the entire cast is buzzing without revealing why. A couple of days ago, we reported thatJohn Marston actor, Rob Wiethoff said “I cannot wait for you to know what’s going on, and that’s all I can say,“teasing some big news.
He gave no clue about what this “exciting news” could be, but if we were to guess, Red Dead Redemption 2 is probably coming to Nintendo Switch 2. It now looks like other actors from RDR2 have joined in on the party. Arthur Morgan actor, Roger Clark, and Charles actor Noshir Dalal have revealed that they are also in on the secret.
Over on Twitter, someone asked Clark if he knew about the news that Wiethoff was talking about. He replies with a simple “yes” and the GIF of the sly looking dog. Clearly something is cooking at Rockstar for RDR2. To add to it, Dalal also replied with a cheeky Jason Momoa GIF, suggesting that he knows what’s up as well.
That’s three members of the Van Der Lind gang acting coy about an imminent announcement. Our bet is on a Switch 2 release of Red Dead Redemption 2 or a next-gen edition of the game. However, there are those who are hoping for a lot more, like Undead Nightmare 2. While it’s unlikely, a sequel to the fan favourite DLC for the first game would be awesome.
The other side of it is that it could be something unrelated to Rockstar or the game itself. Maybe the gang’s getting back together for a podcast based on the series or a Zoom script reading, as some suggested. Knowing how tight-lipped Rockstar likes to be, especially after the massive GTA 6 leak, it’s unlikely that the studio would allow the actors to say even this much.
Whatever it may finally end up being, there’s no doubt that it will be great to see the old gang back together again.
