Destroy Less-Lucrative Crops
The default tool that you start with is the shovel, which is used to remove crops. This isn’t too helpful if you are still focused on blueberries and strawberries, but once you start getting better seeds, you’ll want to make room for them.
Rather than having a portion of your farm dedicated to blueberry bushes, just destroy them to make room for the larger trees or mushrooms. You’ll earn way more money from these more-expensive seeds than you ever would with blueberries. Overall, don’t hesitate to destroy anything that doesn’t make you enough money.
Sometimes, a daily quest requires you to collect a certain amount of low-tier crops. With this in mind, it may be best to have a small section of your farm dedicated to these crops. We found that the space under Dragon Fruit trees makes for a great (and small) growing area for things like carrots and pumpkins.
Set Up Sprinklers
The size and potential mutations of your crops will dictate how much they sell for. Crops like carrots may increase in value when mutated, but it’s not too big of an increase when looking at the base price of some rarer items. If you have high-selling crops though,we highly recommend investing in a sprinkler.
Head to the Gear Shopand see if any sprinklers are available for purchase. It’s worth noting that thesprinkler options are a bit expensive, so you may need to do some saving up.Alternatively, you can buy them with Robux if you have enough.
Camp At The Seed Shop
The best way to get seeds is to basically just camp at the Seed Shop. If you don’t feel like collecting your crops and generally running around,you should stand at the Seed Shop and wait for the refresh.
The shop resets every five minutes, which means that after five minutes,there is a chance that a rare seed is available.While the chance is definitely not high, it’s still worth waiting for. What if you missed an incredibly rare cacao seed restock?
Avoid One-Time Harvest Seeds
Seeds that provide a one-time harvest crop may look appealing, but in the long run,they are not worth it.After harvest, you’ll need to buy another seed, and then go through the process of placing it on your farm in a spot that works. Once grown, you’ll need to do the process again.
Multi-harvest crops keep growing, which meansyou’ll basically get the produce indefinitely.After planted, you also won’t have to worry about where to put future seeds, as it will stay in the same spot (unless you decide to destroy it).
This rule isn’t definite. For example,we are huge fans of bamboo, as they can be used to climb around and reach crops that are typically hard to get.Try putting bamboo near shorter trees as well, which lets you climb right on top!
Play In Peace In A Private Server
Grow a Garden is on Roblox, which means that you are bound to run into other players. If someone on your server has enough Robux,they may even spend a little to steal your crops.If you have a valuable crop growing in sight, you may just get it stolen from you.
Rather than dealing with other players,you’re able to make your own private server for free.Once made, just load in and you’ll be the only player. You cangrow solo, or invite other players to join in with you.Whatever the case, you won’t have to risk your valuables being stolen.
Steal With Robux
What if you want to cause a little chaos though? If you have the Robux on hand,you’re able to steal from others.To steal one item, you’ll need tospend 37 Robux.If you manage to get your hands on something valuable and mutated, you can make a lot of money.
Or, if you are feeling even more chaotic, you cantrade the crop with either another player or with the player that you stole it from.Don’t abuse this power though, as some people ar just looking to relax and grow their farm.
Everyone is just trying to have a good time while playing, so if someone expresses their dislike towards you stealing, try to refrain from doing so. If you don’t want your own crops stolen, you may alsobuy the Favorite Tool from the Gear Shop for $20,000,000.This prevents certain fruit from being collected.
Don’t Forget About Pets
It seems that every Roblox game out there features pets. In some games, they are just a status symbol. In Grow A Garden though,pets serve a purpose.For example, the Black Bunny will passively eat carrots that you have growing and generate a bit more income than if you were to sell it to the shop.
Some pets have even better passive abilities. For example, the Hedgehog (which is found in the Night Egg) willprovide a size bonus to prickly fruit that you are growing on your farm.If you have enough money to spare,we recommend checking out the egg shop.
Events can also bring new eggs, both for free and costing Robux.
Mass Harvest Crops
Last but not least, it’s worth mentioning that you canmass harvest crops without spending any Robux.If you are playing on PC, you can hold down the harvest button (E) and all crops in your vicinity will be harvested.
So, if you are standing among a field of blueberry bushes, you can stand in the center and just hold down E to grab them all. This willcontinuously collect one at a time,but it definitely beats pressing E repeatedly while facing every crop.
It’s also good to know that this can come in handy when you are harvesting from hard-to-reach areas. For example, let’s say that you climb up the side of a palm tree to harvest your coconuts, but some are out of reach. Rather than leaving them be,jump from the tree while holding E down.This will cause you to grab any coconuts within range automatically.
