Summary
Pokemonis slowly revealing : Z-A, the next game in the main serieswe now know will be launching on June 24, 2025. One thing we’ve known about the game for a while is that it will reintroduce Mega Evolution, and Pokemon has teased the release of some Mega Evolution plushes that will seemingly be here long before the next game arrives.
While Pokemon has simply labeled the plushes as “coming soon”,PokeJungle has since followed upand claimedthe new collection will be here by June 14, 2025, so a long time before the launch of Legends: Z-A. That will be a Japan-exclusive release first, so no indication of when they will be available in the US and elsewhere.
New designs as in Mega Evolutions that haven’t been turned into plushes before, not new Mega Evolutions we haven’t seen yet, although I can imagine this being the way Pokemon would reveal that sort of thing.
The two returning plushes areMega Charizard Y and Mega Charizard X, although the former is in stock at the Pokemon Center right now if you want to grab one before the rest of the collection arrives. The new designs getting the most attention from fans areMega Gallade, and, you guessed it, Mega Gardevoir.
More Mega Evolution Plushes Are Coming
I Can See All Your Comments About Mega Gardevour, By The Way
Gardevoir is one of Pokemon’s most popular creations for a variety of reasons. As demonstrated bythe popular release of its life-size plush, anything that makes Gardevoir bigger, like a Mega Evolution, will only heighten its popularity. If Mega Gardevoir is the plush that’s caught your eye, you’ll want to be quick. I get the feeling that will be the one that sells out first.
Joining Gardevoir, Gallade, and the Charizards later this year will beMega Haunter, Mega Lucario, and at least four other Mega Evolution plushes. Pokemon didn’t provide the finer details, so not only do we not know exactly when these plushes will be available, but there also might be more than just the ten it has shown off so far.
The new plushes will seemingly be available in Japan later this month, and could be released in the US at any point after that, ensuring they’re here in plenty of time for Legends: Z-A’s arrival. If the current price of Mega Evolution plushes is anything to go by, the new ones will cost $29.99 each. For those who prefer not to pay for their plushes,pre-ordering Legends: Z-A through the Pokemon Center will get you a free partner Pokemon plush.
