It’s now full steam ahead to the launch ofPokemon Legends: Z-Aafterwe were given our best look yet at the long-awaited next installmentin the series during this week’s Pokemon Presents. In the wake of its new trailer, even more pre-order bonuses for the game have been revealed, includinga very detailed map of Lumiose Citythat doubles as a playmatfor those who also dabble in thePokemon TCG.

The pre-order bonuses are available at Best Buy and Walmart, and, much like some of the other bonuses already revealed for those who buy a copy of Legends: Z-A before release day, where you buy the game dictates what additional item you’ll get for free.If you place a pre-order at Best Buy, you’ll get the Lumiose City playmat, whereasif you buy the game at Walmart, you’ll receive a free enamel pinwith your copy of the game.

Even more Pokemon Legends: Z-A pre-order bonuses have been revealed

Deciding where to buy the game just became even harder

Even if you don’t play the Pokemon TCG, it looks like the Lumiose playmat could be pretty handy. As expected, the futuristic Lumiose looks pretty detailed, and could potentially be the most intricate city layout we’ve seen in a Pokemon game. Having a physical map of the city laid out in front of you while you make your way around would be pretty helpful. If you like the sound of that, you may pre-order Legends: Z-A at Best Buy nowto ensure you get a map of your own.

If that map playmat isn’t selling it for you, thenmaybe the free pins you get at Walmart will. Just to be clear, it doesn’t look like you get all four. The bonus is described as a mystery pin, and while the listing doesn’t say it specifically, I’m assuming every pre-order comes with the Legends: Z-A logo pin and one of the partner Pokemon pins, selected at random. Hey, if you can’t decide which starter to choose, pre-order the game through Walmart, and whichever pin shows up on release day, that’s the Pokemon you have to pick in-game.

If you’re as indecisive as me and like the sound of that, but don’t fancy a new Pokemon pin, pre-ordering through the Pokemon Center bags you something similar. Each copy of the game comes with a free Sitting Cuties plush. Again, it will either be Chikorita, Tepig, or Totodile, but you won’t know which one you’re getting until the game arrives on July 06, 2025.
