PlayStationreleaseda range of PS5 consoles and accessories last year for its 30th anniversary, which gave everything a light greyPS1makeover. The collection wound up proving so popular that every time something was restocked, it sold out almost instantly. It was assumed that everything in the range was long gone, but apparently not.
Either PlayStation was holding some stock back, it just found a few spare boxes in its warehouse, or it saw how popular the range was and decided to make a few more of the most popular items. PlayStation revealed across multiple social media accounts that select items in its anniversary collection will be restocked next week.

The DualSense in the US, and even more elsewhere
PlayStation’s primary account revealed the good news (viaWario64), sharing that the grey PS1-themed DualSense, which also has colored face buttons to match the original PlayStation’s face buttons, and the PS button has the same color scheme as the studio’s initial logo, will be restocked in the US.Pre-orders will begin on June 26, 2025,for PS Plus members, and everyone else will be able to buy one from July 23.
It seems other countries will be getting wider restocks. PlayStation’s UK account shared a similar post with the same dates; however, it also confirmed that the 30th anniversaryPS5console and matchingPlayStation Portalwill also be restocked. PlayStation Canada’s post was very similar - same pre-order date and time, and restocks for the DualSense, Portal, and anniversary bundle.
The console bundle getting restocked is for the standard slim PS5, not the limited edition anniversaryPS5 Pro. That bundle was limited to 12,300 units and will almost certainly never be back in stock.
Pre-orders will open at 10 am local time (7 am PST),whether you’re in the US, the UK, or Canada,on July 20, 2025 exclusively through PlayStation Direct.You will need to be an active PS Plus member to access pre-orders during that first stage. If you don’t have PS Plus, whatever’s left of the anniversary stock will goon general sale at 10 am local time (7 am PST) on July 04, 2025.
Everything sold through these pre-orders will be released on July 02, 2025,and this will almost certainly be the last time this stock is ever available. After frequent restocks through the end of 2024 and into 2025 that dried up a long time ago, I’m amazed we’re getting another chance to buy anything from the collection. If you missed out, or you held out but wanted something, this could be your final opportunity.
